I'm all for updates. It makes the game feel alive and flourishing. And what you devs have done with oldschool runescape, ironically, is create the most remarkable modern game where its direction going forward is decided literally by democracy. Something truly amazing and unique. But to echo what other players have touched on above, what you've done with Zeah and with the release of bosses: constantly introducing BiS gear that makes each previous edition weaker and doing them in such haste is not old school runescape. What's worse, they're just standalone bosses, and like the new area Zeah, there's no lore behind them, no quests introducing them, nothing. Runescape is an adventure game first and its quests are what spur the adventure and exploration. There was no introduction to Zeah, no quest, if I hadn't used the wiki to explain what I do there I'd have no idea where to begin or what to do.
You do not need to constantly iterate on the end game, you could introduce other ways of doing other stuff at less than max level. Power creeping items are wrong. The dragon axe binding effect is going to hurt low level pvp. Quests should be introduced not just more flat bosses, and more loot grinds. I feel the devs' internal idea of the direction of the game has lost its way, I hope you guys find it soon. MM2 was a step in the right direction although I regret some of the item rewards introduced.
