@mod ronan

How will iron men be able to partake in raids?

I hope they are not going to be left out...

Perhaps there could be a system put in place allowing for iron men to team up with fellow iron men with similar combat lvl/stats

cheers

Will Ironmen be able to solo raids? or perhaps a difficulty setting that is changeable to accommodate a raid with fewer people in it like a handicap that realizes that you have started the raid with a party of 1 or more to scale down the difficulty so Ironmen can also raid.

Also with the new mage gear being better than ahrim's robes. I don't mean I want them to replace them.
I want the new robes to be very very hard to get and thus having each of the items prices stabilize at 50-70m. Only a few would save up the money to buy them so they'd never really replace ahrim's robes.
Also if you make them level 80 equipment. Start adding something similar to the hp boosing effect the first nex items used to have. Maybe a constant minus X amount of damage removed from every hit you take?

Take this as constructive criticism: Why is there a need for so many stat buffs?

Rigour and Augury are overpowered. I'll say it again: Rigour and Augury are overpowered.

Range hits hard enough already given the ballista, onyx bolts, dragon bolts etc., not to mention with void.
Meleers are the only fighters who cannot attack without coming up close, so they deserve higher defense and higher max hits than Mages and Rangers to compensate that, or else Range will become dominant for high levels. (I'm a ranger/mage so there's no bias here) Range is not supposed to be even with melee up close; it's supposed to be at a disadvantage, regardless to how popular edge pking is. If you mess with that you create a serious unbalancing of the combat triangle. And I'm sure we don't want another EoC to clean that up. Let's prevent this mess altogether.

Augury would allow Mages to hit significantly more accurately on Rangers, and I think we all want to avoid the backwards days of the Polypore staff when Mages were killing Rangers. Since there haven't been any new range armors coming out with higher Magic Defense than black dragonhide, and since Armadyl, Karil's and the necklace of anguish aren't considered reasonably priced for PvP, I don't think making Magic attacks more accurate would be a good move.

The Dragon Sword is fine, and it doesn't devalue the Dragon Scimitar's spec (not that many people use it anyway)

The Dragon throwing axe is useless. Its stats are weak, which would be alright if the spec was of any use, but the spec's freeze is only 5 seconds, which won't give much of an advantage to anyone except rushers.

The Dragon platebody I have no problem with, but I think it will fail a poll.

I would strongly suggest making a lot of separate poll questions rather than one big "Should we introduce Raids as it was mentioned in the Dev Blog?" So the less popular suggestions don't take everything down with it.
I'm a huge fan of Construction; love the skill. In particular I'm absolutely fascinated with the
Player-Owned House Dungeon.
My dream is for everyone to be able to build their own personal PvM challenge, one that rivals even current content.

Most of these rewards are AMAZING in theory, but I fear that they will be devastating in effect. The idea that troubles me the most is the new prayers, specifically the method of obtaining them. It sounds Joe Shmoe with a pure who wants a badass prayer can literally just...buy it. Also, these items would not be obtainable for ironmen, eh? If a task force is required to defeat the boss, then obviously not, and being an Iron Man main myself, this poses a huge problem.

Aside from that, these updates just have a very "EOC transition-esque" quality reminiscent of the period leading to those changes in RS3 which is unsettling to say the least. Most of the ideas are taken straight out of RS3. Tread carefully here Jagex, don't ruin perfection a second time. Your patrons will be even less forgiving this time (if you can imagine that).
