TL;DR: The RuneScape 3 team has had the biggest issue with releasing too much new content without updating and fixing old content. Please consider this point before imagining new content.

Currently, a lot of the existing game content is pretty dead. This is standard in every MMO out there, believe me, but RuneScape has, by far, the largest collection of dead content. There are so many areas, items, skills, and minigames that need to be reworked and fine-tuned before we receive a massive influx of new updates.

Examples of dead content include:
A majority of the spells in the standard and Lunar spellbooks
Many new wilderness bosses
Tears of Guthix
Trouble Brewing
Shades of Mort'ton
Champions' Challenge
Temple Trekking
**-Haar Fight Pits
Blast Furnace
Mage Training Arena
Rogues' Den
Firemaking
Smithing
Construction
etc.

I do like most of the ideas presented, however I mainly support quality-of-life updates and fine-tuning of current content. RuneScape 3 has had the biggest issue with releasing too much new content without updating and fixing old content. Please consider this point.

I started to play OSRS after i quit RS3 because of updates and all the new crap. You added OSRS to be back as it was in 2007. Now i may stop playing again as i see you all wanting to "RUIN" OSRS with updates that should never been even asked about or voted on. If the game cant be played "Except" with a couple mods in it then whats the use of a 2007 OSRS server? Anything to make a skill easyer or to improve exp per hour shouldnt be added. there shouldnt be any new wepons or anything of that sort added that want there in 2007. Stuff like bank tabs is ok but no G/E as that would ruin the price of items. The main thing that staff should work on is to make sure all bots are removed from all worlds every day. That should be first priority. The time used to stream opening 100 clue caskets should have been used to remove bots and so on. Want to stream somtheing, stream the removal of bots. Thank You

As much as I agree with no bots, the war on bots is a never ending war. They can't eliminate them all at all times. As far as a trading solution.. It would help stabilize items rather than have them all over the place with all of these merchants and trade bots. Updates as well are needed to keep the game alive. Sure, you can repeat your favorite song on your media player over and over all day.. But you as well as I know that would eventually get boring and possible deleted. Updates are essential to keep Old School going.

Greatly looking forward to all this, however the player council seems a little iffy, I don't really see a need for this type of thing as the 75% majority voting seems to be fine as it is. As for the uber quest and map expansion I think Eastern Lands would be sick. My $.02

This is complete and utter BS.

Old School getting new skill which won't even be introduced to RS3? Sorry but that's beyond dumb.

As for the new quest, I'm MEH on the actually storyline, but a new region... Aka Eastern Lands. which increases the map by 50% making it actually BIGGER than Rs3 once again...

What are Jagex trying to do here make us quit the main game and just play Old schoool...
