Although I agree with you on the player counsel. I strongly disagree with you on the new skill part. It has been over a year, and we need new skill to be introduced. Again I agree that Rs3's new skills sort of sucked, but jagex will let us CHOOSE what kind of skill we want introduced.

If the Player Council is something to be voted on, popular video makers and streamers will just abuse their fame. I don't want Alisha representing the pure community, but it's something that would happen because she can say 'please vote for me' in front of 2k viewers a day. At least let us write a CV or something to apply and you guys pick a short list of say 10 people from each community, that way it'd be people who are suitable for the roles.

To be completely honest, I don't like the idea of having a player council in Oldschool RuneScape. That sounds to me a lot like a "RuneScape government" or something. I do not believe a player council will be good for OSRS, not because of the idea itself as the idea *does* have the *potential* to be beneficial to the community, but because rather that the players that will be chosen to represent the community will only be popular streamers, YouTubers, stakers, and just basically every popular player that streams a PK/PVP video.

But do they really know about the game?? The game itself? Not the community. Not the colorful personalities within the game, but instead the actual game itself. I believe that to be able to understand the community fully, you must first understand every aspect and every part of the game and not just PKing, and doing streams for donations of IRL money. Having thousands of viewers on a video doesn't mean you fully *know* the community of RS.

For example, I was hanging out in the Hexis Skilling Clan CC and had quite a good debate on whether or not this could be a good addition to the game. Perhaps, a lot of the people thought in the cc, but they also did not want RS to be ran by PKers and streamers and ultimately the "popular" kids. I believe that the OSRS council would be ran better if it were by players who knew the game completely inside and out and have been playing for years and years.

I already have someone in mind, to be honest. He's ranked 3 overall on the highscores, and that's all I'm going to say. The council should be made up of people like this gentleman who knows pretty much every single aspect of the game Oldschool RuneScape. Not just some kid who is addicted to staking or PKing and only has viewers because the viewers want to ultimately see the kid lose his bank, or fail and rage in the Wilderness.

And that's my two cents. Others are, of course, always entitled to their opinions as well.

A lotta people are saying to bring free-to-play Runescape back. Someone did bring up a good point. More people would play the game if f2p was added. Not all of those players would stay f2p. Some just need to see the new Runescape 2 (OSRS) servers first and see if they like it. They'll feel more comfortable with it if they don't have to pay for it. Then after they realize they like it (and after they get their stats up) they'll take the next step. People just feel that it's a little much to ask to pay for a game they don't know they'll like.

Although I agree completely, the most logical counter argument I have seen to f2p is that Jagex worries OSRS will overtake RS3 in popularity.

If OSRS had f2p, it probably would overtake RS3 in popularity. If it ain't broken, stop trying to fix it. Jagex has never learned that.

I would like them to focuss more on smaller things and upgrade unused parts of the game. Like the minigame update, wilderness rejuv, the quick prayers, bank tabs, the upgrade of prayer bonus of d hide, the zammy hasta. I loved all those updates. For example upgrading rune (h1,2,3,4) shield to make them have some use so clue scrolls will be worth more. Or upgrading trouble brewing so it'll be rewarding to play. I think they are better of using already existing content and make it better instead of adding whole new skills and areas.

I'd rather keep the idea of leaving disks of returning and half wines as discontinued rares in all honesty. They were discontinued from the start and will vanish over time making them rare once again. Also another suggestion to make is to add Free-to-Play world that are truly "Free". The population on OSRS is not very high and this will bring in a few more new players to see if they would rather play RS3 or OSRS.
