Player Council is a bad idea. It'll just consist of 'first-page streamers' who aren't the best folks to represent the game in terms of the integrity of gameplay.

Would you say I'm a good player to represent gameplay integrity? :P

Even if the best possible people are selected on this 'council', the amount of drama because of it will be never-ending.

The current discussions on the forums among all players and polls are the best way to do things. It's bad enough the kind of influence some players have on a group of players due to their 'following'.
The forums and polls work, don't fix something that isn't broken. Everything stated here is forwarded from a major corporation. Nothing here is my opinion. Enjoy your salad.

More or less what I think we were expecting for the future since these are updates people have been wanting for a while - I really hope we see more PvM opportunities now that we have an artist, that'd be a really long drought with no new PvM!

The council's interesting, want to hear more about it sooner rather than later.

Can you actually take F2p into account? I really think we need f2p for this game to grow any further... How many people are going to try a new game that they're asking for a fee upfront for? I started Runescape in 2005 and I would of never even considered playing it if I'd of been asked to pay for it upfront, I tried the f2p version out for a month and loved it so I got members. Other than my little f2p rant, I think you should consider adding Evil trees and shooting stars again, they made woodcutting and mining fun for me personally. Also Bh is a terrible idea, the current ammount of pkers who play the game isn't even enough to fill the wilderness and free to play and as for the player council.. That's just a terrible idea, you could just get a bunch of people who think that the game shouldn't be updated at all or that the game should be drastically updated to something simmiler to pre eoc, which in my opinion would be a nightmare.
