Have you considered giving perks to the corresponding slayer helms? These would apply on tasks only.

Some suggestions

Kalphite helm: immunity to poison
Kbd helm: partial protection against dragonfire
Abby helm: travel to the abyss without losing prayer (best I could think of lol suggestions are welcome)

These perks could be unlocked with slayer points. Let me know what you think!

Would it be possible to update the Slayer Helm so that it works WITH stuffed heads?
I stuffed my KBD head a while ago planning on mounting it in my house, but held on to it once I heard about the potential update, it was never stated anywhere that stuffed heads couldn't be used, and there is no warning in game either, so after paying 1000 slayer points I'm left disappointed. :(
I agree with the other ideas around paying the Taxidermist to un-stuff the heads. but since the hard part of this update is actually obtaining the head I don't think its fair that we have been penalised for stuffing a head that prior to this update had absolutely no use unless it WAS stuffed. :(

1000 points seems a little excessive, no? It does, however, make it more prestigious. But I think 500 points would still do the trick.

Perhaps a refund for the people who've already upgraded if you do decide to lower the cost?
