Can you get a chinchompa pet from this hunting method?
The chin pet is a bit weird, the other skills pets can be obtained when you engage with those skills in any way you see fit, but the chin pet can only be obtained from chin hunting. I get the "logic" behind it, but it seems very limiting and the other pets aren't exactly "loigcal" either, you just randomly find a beaver/heron, etc.
It always concerned me a bit that the chin pet work like that, it devalues potential future hunter content almost immediately for players that like pets (Which is many). I want to use these maniacal monkeys, but I wont do it if there's no chin pet chance

The price may well be responding to players' assumption that the tails will become as common as flax, but such an assumption would be unjustified, and hopefully the price will stabilise when it becomes apparent that hunters aren't flooding the market with hundreds of tails a minute.
