I have a great idea that everyone I believe would agree with. Mod Ronan and the Old School team please take this idea into consideration before fully releasing last man standing. I feel that there should be different tiers of last man standing rather then just one, making it not only more interesting but also open to everyone. There are some people that can afford to risk more then 100k or they may not be as interested in LMS for the simple fact that the reward is only 1.5m. So make anywhere from 1-5 different tiers, where players can choose to risk 100k, 500k and 1m, the with the payouts being 1.5m, 7.5m and 15m. This would bring a larger money sink into the game and would also attract people who have more wealth instead of just attracting only a certain part of the community. Again thanks for taking the time to read over this, I hope you take this into consideration.

Yours truly,

Hello,
I have a sort of suggestion for LMS. I used to play an RSPS similar to the concept of LMS, but it has been shut down for awhile now. There are some concepts in LMS that are similar, but watching the game-play of the old Hunger Games Runescape server seems so much more fun right about now. They made it so that there are A) multiple maps you can pick B) many more items in play C) traps, such as exploding chests/poison chests, and finally D) no fog; the top 5 or so players get teleported to an enclosed area to fight for the #1 spot. This game was very very addicting, and I would suggest that you modify it in some ways similar to this RSPS.

Here's a link to a video I watched of the old RSPS I used to play:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t0T1tz6RdGM

(don't mind the odd voices coming from commentators, focus on the gameplay)

Thanks for your consideration,

Peddler

The official LMS was just released. I played many many games when it was in beta, and really enjoyed the mode. But...

I have a few complaints and suggestions, some have already been previously mentioned, credit given where due.

1* 100k is too expensive for the general player.- Set up a cheaper tier for poor players.
2* Winning is spawn based, rather than skill-based.- Reduce # of spawns per game and fix their location OR add more chests and vendors relative to weaker spawn points.
***Another fix could involve setting fixed spawns on edge of map, and put all loot in center sort of like the Hunger Games.
3* Gets bland after multiple games.- Create more dynamic gameplay IE more obstacles/chests/towers.

What I would really like to see is a true survivalist mode. Completely oriented on surviving the lot of players starting from scratch. It would go something like LMS but with these changes.

1: No loot chests. Spawn naked (not literally) on the island with nothing but a survival kit (this works like the dwarven army axe, as a tinderbox/axe/knife etc for all your tool needs.)

2: True survival. Everyone has 99 in all skills, starts with NOTHING but KIT, everything must be crafted/caught/smithed/cooked.

3: Diversification. Create combat and skill classes that combat one another (IE Agile Assassin- 99 ATT/STR, 40 HP/DEF, 99 AGI/THV or Blacksmith Warrior- 99 STR/HP, 40 ATT/DEF, 99 MIN/SMI.) You get the point, balancing would be for Jagex to do.

I really liked LMS, and it has so much potential, but I will not be playing it until the issues are fixed, and it's made more interesting.

I don't know if someone has mentioned this as I did not read all 30 some pages, but I really wish there was more to the casual mode.

As a middle class player, I can not afford to keep paying 100k for competitive mode, but I really enjoy the LMS game.
However, casual mode offers nothing to keep you interested or make it rewarding.
I wish there was some sort of token system in casual kind of like Castle Wars. Like the top 3-5 players get tokens/tickets (obviously 1st place gets more and 5th gets the least amount) and you can add some new game content for them to use the tokens on. It can be just fashionscape apparel or maybe even something useful. But that would definitely keep my interest in playing more often. Instead of feeling like I'm wasting time, even though I enjoy it, but can't afford to play for an actual prize.
