People, people, people. Please breathe, relax and read my post for a second.

You all must understand that these skill proposals come directly from the players that designed the skills themselves. The only thing you should do now is vote for the skill you think it will fit most in OldSchool RuneScape.

The skill that wins, will then later be polled to say Yes or No to. BUT, this time you will get a FULLY detailed description of the skill, which explains everything about it. You will be able to vote on specific elements of the skill to customize it to your own preferences. Then 75% of the community has to say yes, and then the skill will be added to the game.

Is that really so bad? Personally, I could see myself training the Artisan skill, it would be great! A lot of dead content turns into something new, it doesn't affect the combat system (why we have the oldschool servers) and it makes skilling worthy again. It's a great idea!

Also, when you're reading a skill, try to imagine how it would be implemented into the game. Don't rage immediately on a skill, but try to think positive as these new skills could have a positive impact on the game.

Good luck voting all, and stay positive! I've voted for the Artisan Skill!

The PDC I submitted was exactly like the Artisan skill (Slayer for non-combat skills.) Wow, I'm very surprised somebody thought of the exact same thing as me. Their entry was much more detailed than mine, though.

Mine was the exact same aswell, but I called it the Producer Skill ;) I made a video about it on youtube on the second day of the competition. Mine was even more detailed than the Artisan idea, got the feeling that someone stole it. Even the build of the document is the same as mine =/

Well I don't feel as bad now knowing I wasn't the only one. Good minds think alike I guess? :P But ouch, that's rough.

To prevent from being muted/banned.
These skills are trash. Completely useless. This is why I quit rs2 before eoc even came out.
FIX DEAD CONTENT not make and I use this word loosely from what I have read about these trash skills "NEW" content.

You want a task system go kill 1m cows while live streaming.... there's your task system.
You want to pin animals in a pin go to lumbridge cows, there's your pinned up animals.
You want to fix forests go do farming there's your stupid forest plant trees.
You want to watch stars from outer space go to the observatory and just click teh telescope.

Needless to say when the option comes to vote no, me and other players who joined osrs for the reason it was osrs will vote no.

If you received over 450 entries and these five were the best, I shudder to think how awful the others must have been.

All of them are just too small - skills are supposed to have a profound effect on the game and change how people do things, most of these are worse than Hunter (and Hunter barely has enough content to make it worthwhile - chins, salamanders, gloves of silence and a spottier cape were practically the entire skill until implings came out).

I hope you don't take us voting 'No, we don't want this rubbish' as a statement against new skills - new skills are great if they're actually well-thought out and have more of a reason to be in the game than free total levels.
