I cant see this working,

Instead of spending money on developing your bot systems why don't you put your hand in your pockets and start employing mods to simply hop worlds go to common spots and on the spot ban people. Truth is your systems can sometimes be wrong...

How is this going to affect those goddamn merch bots in varrock?

Those bots are probably the most visible and disappointing part of Old School to be frank.

Either devise a more efficient type of trading, such as the Grand Exchange, or ban those damn merch bots every day.

P.S. zyb isn't even that great of a system for any of u g.e. h8rs

Jagex please just wait another week or two before releasing this. I know it sounds like a good idea and everything but its better to not rush it.

Maybe in that time another solution possibly a better one will come to mind?

Don't take this as me bashing the update. I just feel its better to wait and get more feed back on it and possible ways to improve.

This is a terrible idea. You lot have already banned hundreds and hundreds of HONEST PLAYERS in the past two weeks.

Now you're preparing to ban hundreds, if not thousands more of honest players?

Mod Mat K, Ash, you both know that this will not work. You both know that this will fail and will create an even bigger list of problems.

With this update you are further catering to the absolute minority of the community, the casuals. Why? What is the purpose? Why are you banning and shunning your loyal playerbase?

The majority of our community play this game efficiently, and are not casual trainers. The majority of our community is not new to Runescape, and have not been new to Runescape for a very long time. So why cater to casuals? They are the absolute minority, more of a minority than the non-gold farming botters in Runescape.

You have not even begun to unban or investigate any of the honest players getting banned, and in all honesty we as players know that Jagex workers do not care if an honest player has been banned or not.

We see it on your twitter's, Mod's flaming players out even if they have proof that they are honest players.


We've came so far in OSRS, why are you knowingly heading down this road even further? It is not too late to turn around and actually fix the problems you have created.

I can see how this can work. it definitely sounds like it would take some time to actually make a difference tho. I was going to suggest some rs3 methods of getting rid of bots before reading this, like having a regular bot nuke, but after reading this, I am not sure that is possible at the moment. to me tho, the bots that seem to be the biggest problem are the merchant bots.

Okay.. SO let me get this straight. On top of the 50 randoms I get a day, Im now going to have to worry about being switched worlds, and needing to switch back. FANTASTIC. The whole point of "bot busting" is to make the game more enjoyable to the Human community, but you're just annoying us even more. This is going to fail so much. Most bots that are mining for Runite hop worlds themselves, therefor solving nothing. I need a chill pill or something, but you're ruining this even more. Now making a more competetive "hidden world" that everyone is:

1.) Going to love to be away from everyone else anyways.

2.) going to rage about constantly having to switch worlds.

3.) Have pker's paranoid. (You already stated this "shouldn't" affect pker's and when it does? What happens then?)

You guys are ONCE AGAIN, ruining a great game in my opinion. I've been playing since 2006, if not earlier, and this game was never this annyoing. If you even wanna do anything fletching, alching, herb, crafting, superheating, bone burrying, etc. etc. You might as well just call the Pest Control Bank your entire runescape world.

Another point is, if you sent a human to one of these bot worlds, what makes you think that instead of messing with the world hopping the entire time they play, they just decide to stay. You sent them to the world thinking they were a bot once by "
"closely monitoring", whats gonna change your mind the second time you "closely monitor" them?! This is a fail idea, that is going to kill off more of the human OSRS community on top of your income. You're welcome.

I agree with someone above me... hire a few people whos only job is to go around worlds daily and ban bots. Thats going to be more efficient than anything else. Exactly.
