My opinion is just one of many; however, I think this LootShare idea is better than the one implemented in RS3--but it's still not great. There's too much room for imbalance as it, with no "cap" or ceiling and without degradation over time (played, not time passed in realife since LSP changes).
I hate hypotheticals, but for example, if someone gets shafted at corp, they'd essentially get every drop for the rest of eternity (assuming the Elysian sigil is >10x more expensive than the next non-3a item in the game currently) ...
I think ways of combatting this would be to have some kind of quantification of LSP for other people to determine if they want to add someone to their group or not. I think this could be vague, ranges, such has High Med Low chance for getting a drop compared to everyone in the world.
Ultimately, I like the idea of InstantShare more.. It's immediate feedback for an entire team in PvM, and offers it in a way that doesn't compromise the economy.
Just my thoughts!
Cheers!
