Im looking at the poll archive, and I fail to see where we actually voted for a new skill... there were choices for priorities, and look at the percentage of votes a new skill got... with all due respect, how is this being pushed on us?

What do you expect for them to do if this game runs on dead content? I didnt like the idea of Nmz, but this could really be a good idea, if the new skill is good. Besides, it takes 75% of the people to vote for it to be implemented. That is why they use the polling system.

and honestly, had the new skill question been presented as a simple "Yes or No would you like a new skill vote", I think it would get an overwhelming No. Forgive me, but I just feel like I see the writing on the wall. I saw what happened on other RS, and I called it each update..

Dungeoneering was actually the best skill ever, the most comprehensive skill ever, the most fun skill ever, and undoubtedly put the multiplayer aspect into the mmo.

It's a true bloody shame this is not coming back to osrs.

I Am actually so disappointed in the Jmods, in their search for originality and desire to just be "different" from RS3, they will disregard what was probably the skill with the most potential for competition (floor times), deserving rewards, additional content for all Existing skills (was my only motivation to get my total up), and an amazing way to bring people from rs3 into Osrs, as many of the dgers in rs3 would prefer the old school difficulty and challenge of it.

Whatever new skill gets the most votes, I truly hope it compares to the standards of dungeoneering, especially if you guys are not even letting it be a part of the vote*
dungeoneering isn't a skill though? it's a minigame.

But the fact is, it is a skill even now on RS3, despite your denials, furthermore, it was one of the few skills that actually required said skill.
dungeoneering takes no skill. i dung occasionally and i'm probably just as good at it as you and i'm not even 99 dung. so i think you're in denial.

I find this hilarious, there is no way you can do sub 20 5:5, least pre eoc...I've dunged with hundreds of people your level and not one could ever dung well

dung was amazing and I agree 100% that it should be added, even without chaotics I would do it all the time

pre-eoc was easy as well. i think you were just bad at dungeoneering. dung isn't amazing either probably the worst concept of a "skill" ever.
OS Status: Nothing atm.

RS3 Status: 120 Slayer done now onto figuring out what I should do next.

Honestly even implementing a new skill can't "fix" or "save" OSRS... Think of it this way if you quit RS and decided to go play a new game would you rather go play an outdated version of a game you can't even test for free (OSRS) or would you play a game that is constantly being advertised on certain tv channels etc, constantly new content, and a bigger player base (RS3). OSRS only brings old school players of RS for the nostalgia factor, no new players are going to come to it... It looks outdated and feels out dated.
