I thought of a new skill called Rearing..
Basically the outline of this would be you start of with a small pen/area and you start of with being able to rear low level runescape animals such as chicken/cows, before moving up the levels and gradually moving onto the more larger and abnormal monsters, such as dragons etc.. now there should be a limit on how many you can rear at one time depending on your level.. the good thing with this is you should be able to slay these to gain materials to help with other skills, the low levels should give out the same loot as regular RS ones, but once you level and start progressing on to the high level monsters, there should be a slight change when it comes to the green dragons etc, due to not having the risk of being pk'd within the wilderness, this will give people the choice of weather they want to take the risk of being killed by another player while killing within the wildy or take a bit of extra time collecting the loot from there own drags but with the safety of not being pk'd, they should also have an option where you can allow friends or other fellow players into your pen/area to slay your Npc's wether this be for free or charging a small fee, this would gain player interaction and be something different for the runescape community..

The skills it would compliment:
All combat stats: This is due to killing the npc's
Construction: Having a certain construction level to build the pen for certain npc's
Prayer: Collecting the bones from the Npc's you've killed
Crafting: Collecting the raw materials dropped from the Npc's
Fletching: Again Collecting raw materials dropped from chickens i.e Feathers

Number of Npc's allowed to rear:
This will all depend on your level, there should be a max cap of having 5 per player, and you are able to have a mixture of Npc's in different cages/pens if you wish or five of the same in one.

Just a different idea, not sure what your ideas on this are but, thought i'd put it out there
Thanks
Legit

A lot of people keep saying that this game is going to turn into EOC and they think the old school team are ruining it, we make every decision and you can only blame the people that vote in the polls!

I have an idea for a new skill: Merchanting.

Each player is allowed to setup a shop possibly as a right click option on a player - you buy items from people as usual but then if you wish to you can put that item into your shop. Maybe how many levels you progress the more items you can sell at your shop. The profit you make from the shop from selling your items at a higher price could be converted into experience some how.

If this dosent sounds like a skill it could be a solution to the trade problem. It would be an easy way of looking at what people have to sell and you dont even need to talk to them, in this shop interface you have an option to buy and this gold is directly added to the players bank.

Any ideas on this or feedback would be cool. First time using the forum so be nice :)

Name of skill: Bundling, or something similar.
The skill focuses on being able to save inventory spaces by bundling common items together. For example yew logs. If you have 5 yew logs in your inventory, depending on your bundling level you can bundle them so that they take up less inventory spots. A higher bundling level allows one to bundle more types goods, as well as more goods per bundle. This would be useful in pvm, skilling, and would be polled for use in PvP. Bundles can be undone. Bundles are untradeable. There is a max on the amount of bundles one can have in his or her inventory, as well as a max number of items per bundle. Perhaps an introductory quest could also be implemented for the first few levels. The skill could be trained in an area similar to the mage training area, or with one's own goods, by bundling obviously. In order to bundle goods, one needs to use a certain rope, string, or similar material to bundle. These can be purchased from the training area, crafted in a style similar to making bowstrings, or as uncommon drops from certain monsters. There would also be certain tiers of bundle string, each associated with a different amount of items per bundle. Strings would be stackable

-Lootingback or backpacking.
-Mounting
- Boosting to your combat such as skilling. I could be something with diffrend and mixed boots and morale ratings.

exemple: You would be able to have diffrend setups to boost you character after your choice

Name of Skill: Performance/Performing?

This skill would be just as it sounds, you can juggle, juggle fire, breathe fire, do tricks, sing, play instruments, other stuff like that. Rewards for doing the skill could be being able to perform at bars around runescape and get paid by the game per hour. As you get higher levels you can perform in more places with more stuff.

Dungeoneering was actually the best skill ever, the most comprehensive skill ever, the most fun skill ever, and undoubtedly put the multiplayer aspect into the mmo.

It's a true bloody shame this is not coming back to osrs.

I Am actually so disappointed in the Jmods, in their search for originality and desire to just be "different" from RS3, they will disregard what was probably the skill with the most potential for competition (floor times), deserving rewards, additional content for all Existing skills (was my only motivation to get my total up), and an amazing way to bring people from rs3 into Osrs, as many of the dgers in rs3 would prefer the old school difficulty and challenge of it.

Whatever new skill gets the most votes, I truly hope it compares to the standards of dungeoneering, especially if you guys are not even letting it be a part of the vote*
dungeoneering isn't a skill though? it's a minigame.

But the fact is, it is a skill even now on RS3, despite your denials, furthermore, it was one of the few skills that actually required said skill.
dungeoneering takes no skill. i dung occasionally and i'm probably just as good at it as you and i'm not even 99 dung. so i think you're in denial.
OS Status: Nothing atm.

RS3 Status: 120 Slayer done now onto figuring out what I should do next.
