First of all, I like and dislike the idea for a new skill, but I like it more than disliking it.

Reasons players quit Runescape was not because of dungeoneering or summoning. If you do not like a skill, do not train it. OR suffer through it like I do with Agility and Hunter. More players quit because of Squeal of Fortune, removal of wild and free trade, EoC, and because they grew tired of playing.

Me personally, have not played rs in a while, but I recently got into OSRS and am enjoying it rather well. BUT a new skill? I for one, play to enjoy myself, not necessarily max my stats. If that is why you play then great, you will have another skill to max. A new skill though will add tons of content and will be welcomed by me, AS LONG AS IT IS DONE RIGHT. There should not be a skill that gives OP weapons to the players that choose to train it, but if there is then I will suffer through it if I hate it.

I would personally like to see a skill that adds things to other skills as well so that I have a need and want to go train it. If it is just another gathering skill then it will almost make me hate it as I will not want to just gather*

**;dr: A new skill adds more content, and as long as it is done right it is welcomed by me.

it does effect her even if she doesn't train it because chaotics were op as fk idk about now i don't play eoc but chaotics were brutally op and were basically a game ruiner.

+with some nerfed rewards, dungeoneering would make an ok minigame but it doesn't really seem like it would be a skill.

Agreed. As long as the skill is done well it will be great to have something fresh to train. If it doesn't sound like it will be done well then it more than likely won't even make it into the game either because of the poll so I am not worried at all.

Am I the only one here who thinks this is blatantly stupid... As a vet for 13 years this will only hinder at the word "Oldschool" If this game is based on nostalgia, why would drastic new elements need to be added. I see that this will not only cause trouble in the community who actually play this for nostalgic value "which is why you released it." But it will also make me quit aswell...

You have a good thing going here, why muck it all up. I'm sure once this new skill is released the servers will not be as packed as they were before. This would no longer be "oldschool" how about "new oldschool" That fits the definition far better.
