They actually said "has now been doubled and the 50% bonus when killing creatures by the dark altar has been removed". Using TzHaar heads as an example: Today's rate is 1104xp. If you cut that in half (552xp) and add on a "50% bonus", you get 828xp.

I actually just started a thread asking about why there was a bonus to begin with, as well as why they are making it sound like we can cast the spells anywhere on the map

Can we get reward for blast mining. since we already have outfit from MLM, I was thinking like helm or shield that you can wear that lessen the damage taken when mining Volcanic sulphur as this will go hand in hand with blast mining and you would need to do blast mining to get it.

So you will first need to get access to blast mining and then earn tokken like MLM and use that to buy the helm. SO only people that are training in blast mining would be able to get it and this would make it bit easier to make dynamite.

So reward system like MLM - and put reward where you wear something to take less damage.

I have 54 HP and have to use a lot of food to get Volcanic sulphur and would like reward at end so it worth doing

Jagex, I know you love ignoring my posts here, but please add 3 separate choices in the content poll for the new Jad 2 capes! Not everybody agrees on releasing new best-in-slot capes for all 3 combat styles (particularly melee, since the Fire cape already exists), but maybe it would give them a chance at being released if each cape is polled separately. The poll is 3% from passing, sitting at 72% ... and I really want to see all of this content enter the game! OMG! lol

Ok, first of all, the homepage update related to the necromancy book is COMPLETELY inaccurate and misleading. You mention the prayer experience has been doubled. I just used the reanimate daganoth spell and got 936 xp, this is NOT double the original xp, which was 702. Can someone please respond to me on this because I'm extremely confused. Also, you mention the 50% bonus when casting near the dark altar has been removed, but what bonus is this? because I can't seem to cast the spell anywhere except near the dark altar. How was it ever considered a bonus if you can't cast the spell anywhere else? That makes it just the normal XP rate, no such thing as a bonus. After reading the update I was lead to believe I could cast the spells anywhere.

Can someone PLEASE explain to me what I'm missing because this makes no sense to me whatsoever.

The wording of today's update implies you can cast reanimate spells anywhere in Runescape, is that true? If not, then do that. If it is, then great. That's the only thing holding me back from sitting on the necromancy spellbook. Lacking teleports is one thing, not being able to reanimate heads as i get them as a drop is even worse. My inventory fills up too fast and camping abbies causes me to bank 20x more than usual because heads are worth picking up but not worth enough to be happy about it.

I did blast mine today an was paying attention, after 1 hour at 85 mining I ended up with 447k gps from the ores and 39.9k experience in that hour. Either I was doing something totally wrong or the buff u gave is not accurate to actual experience gained while playing the mini game.
