The new capes aren't a powerhouse, they barely ADVANCE the game. People are so scared of BiS and don't actually consider what impact it has, they see BIS OMG VOTE NO""!@"!@2 TOO POWERFUL.

If you actually look at it, it's like 1 extra damage at the most.


The problem is that the mage/range capes are equivalent to the one that melee already has, yet requires far more effort for the same thing. That is not balanced. They should come from Jad 1, with slightly improved versions (better def and/or attk-no extra damage) from Jad 2.

Also: 1 damage adds up.

Serpentine Helm: enough str bonus for +1 damage. It's only +1
Primoridial boots: enough str bonus for +1 damage. it's only +1
Drag Defender: +1 damage over rune defender. It's only +1
Firecape V2: +1 damage over regular firecape. It's only +1,right?

Suddenly, we're at a minimal of +4 damage.


Serpentine Helm is +2 str bonus more
Primortal boots is +1 str bonus more
Dragon defender is +1 str bonus

All together that's 4 str bonus. Making you hit 1 more with all of those combined.
Firecape V2 with +8 str bonus will be alright.

I find it strange how ranged will not really have it's BIS cape, since in alot of situations it would be unpratical (like saradomin for example). And ava's device or ranged skillcape would be more fitting.

Melee and magic have their all use capes. I'd rather have some kind of new accumulator with the ability to retrieve ammo back so that ranged doesn't stay behind.

In terms of PvP putting a cap on 48-48 Dark bow specs could be a solid solution.

Thats what they had mentioned in their latest q&a. Potential caps on weapons that get extremely overpowered. At the moment they suggested doing that to the dark bow and at some point in the future possibly the AGS, as well as possibly some others.

Currently the barrel chest anchor requires 60 attack and 40 strength to use, but according to your image of the 4 hammer stats is

Rune = level 40,
Barrel chest anchor = 50,
Dragon war hammer = level 60
Abyssal bludgeon = level 70

so if this update comes into the game the requirements for the barrel chest anchor will be lowered to 50 attack?

will people stop being so hungup about the other runescape we use to play which became eoc-scape.

when did anyone ever complain about new content anyways, if they didnt deliver new content i think you would be most likely asking for new content and there was already content so you played what the game offered so what is so bad if they add new stuff anyways?


when did anyone ever care about new content being added until eoc came out but this isnt eoc this is osrs we help guide the game with our polls so stop being hungup on the thought of the other runescape and how it turned out not bad but different so realise if they dont add extra content we'll probably all just get bored and shun jagex more like people usually do because their hungup on the thought of eoc-scape.

because of these people that keep getting hungup on the thought of eoc we lose potential updates because of them so get over eoc and the thought of it, jagex will probably never pass eoc on here anyways.so stop voting no just because your hungup on the thought of eoc-scape.

by the way we have that old combat system we use to enjoy.

I voted no. Here is why I, and why others may have voted no.

1. We want this challenge be something similar but different/seperate from the already existing fight caves. Maybe in a seperate fight caves hosted by the Tasakaal I heard of being on Zeah? Maybe it could cost a fire cape from their Tzhaar cousins to prove your worth and to begin? That bit ought to be polled seperately.

2. People may want to know if these capes, the ranged and mage ones in particular, if they will collect your ammo and allow you to cast the god spells respectively.

3. Upon completion, do you recieve all three capes? Do you get to pick which one you get?

Or do you get a random one of the three and have to keep trying in order to get the one you want?

These are all important bits of information that matter to the players in the decision making process.

Honestly this is such a joke. Every stupid teleport gets voted but nothing else cool. we need a barrows tele? morytania isn't close enough? how sad all of you lol cant do barrows unless you teleport right there. fire capes would be so sweet +4 str is only 1 damage more anyway. would be sweet to finally have some % mage bonus oh my ironman you ge noobs dont have to get 93 slay first or solo zammy. but lets have clues drop from floating bottles lol. oh ya lets have a dragon war hammer which is statius, but lets vote down statius for deadman which i dont even have one but thats stupid. they cant even have nmz ring imbues. but sense its not deadmen lets have new sparkly teleports nice. atleast make deadman vote for deadman updates , again i dont even have a deadman its not a baised view like i only play deadman
