I agree with Duo Armadyl's post, a new jad cape (could) be great, as long as it doesn't undermine the already existing best cape in the cape for some purposes (Ardy cape 4).
Players (including myself) have invested a lot of time and resources into acquiring that cape mainly to have as best-in-slot for doing team corp. All that time and energy will have been for nothing if a new, better cape is introduced with far less requirements. Anyone would be able to get it, even if they had to get a friend who was better at fight caves than themselves.

Perhaps, create the new cape as you've advertised, but reduce it's effect at corp to make doing the Ardy Elite diaries still worth it? As that's why most people who aren't going for the achievement diary cape get the Ardy Cape 4 in the first place (corp).

I think it would be a good idea instead of making new capes is if you got an item you can use on your god cape / ava's / fire cape that upgrades it. Perhaps even make it able to be taken off and used again on another style so you dont have to go through the long and difficult process 3x for all three capes, as if you can do it once you can do it again anyway.

I too have put alot of efford and time into getting the AC4 as mentioned by M 7. But new updates bring upgrades, devaluating previously existing items by default. I'd like to use AC4 at Corp still as much as I'd like to potentially use the F Cape v2.

Alltough it feels like time's wasted getting the AC4, IMO it's time change will be made.
