so because of this I need to make other posts to explain my reasoning for my ideas but here are my ideas.

make it to where you can protect 1-2 extra combat skills/3-6 extra other skills/less items lost on death to a key/less exp loss if you die/5-10 stacks of items you can protect in deposit box/more items you can protect in the item box.

Ian's working on a fix for the skulling problem.

Even if you've set 'Attack' to always be a right-click option, if you equip a team cape, the game reasonably assumes that you wanted to attack people in other teams, since there aren't many other reasons to wear a team cape. Ian's looking at changing that too, for Deadman worlds.

Expect an update later today.

Team cape isn't the only problem. There are bug abusers who are able to attack people in guarded zones without getting a skull. I also saw on a stream a player (not skulled) who was getting attacked by a guard level 1337 and wasn't taking any damage with protection of melee on?

So I assumed I would be asked what 5 stats to keep when I died. Perhaps the first time a player dies you could ask them what 5 stats to keep?

Also the 'two combat skills kept on death' is rigged imo because it greatly benefits to just be a mage or range tank.

Many people are dying in guarded towns from misclick. You should consider putting an option which removes the attack option for players who don't want to fight. It's one thing to intentionally attack someone and it's another to just misclick.

i thought on the Q&A deadman mode was suppose to be about everyone killing each other,but the sad part in reality is that it is not. Most of the people just skill at guarded banks. Other players such as clans and tryhards walk around hunting down people with skulls. The sad part of it is if you are skulled there are like 20 people chasing you whether its closing door trolling, telling all their friends to come, or lots and lots and lots of pjing. It is impossible to kill anyone while skulled because of these stupid pjers raggers or tryhards with high level armor and full inv of food. I think the system should be more balanced as it was meant to be not 99% scums waiting for a skulled player to pk. With each passing day there are less and less people willing to skull and more and more trying to kill the few skulled players. so i think the deadman mode system is really unfair and needs to be reworked. Perhaps change players that attack skulled players should get skulled themselves.

jagex I see you made changes to the way deadman works a day after release this could be an extremely bad thing.the reason why is this, people are flooding the comment section with ideas but these are just starting ideas and later on after people have gained more experience playing deadman more and jagex itself has watched how deadman is working within the community these immediate changes may be looked at as bad later on. If you change things to early you set a new course for the game to play that comes from not well-rounded comments because players havn't gained a great deal of experience playing yet so the future of the game could be messed up. Later on their opinions should be more well-rounded and jagex's as well when deciding what to add.Please don't try to hard to fast without gaining experience to know how its going to affect the outcome or it could be bad.please wait to start making changes unless its glitch fixes of course.
