I like this update zulrah is a very good moneymaking method, not because its easy, sometimes u have to eat all ur food for 1 kill but u just teleport and u can fight, now u have to spend money to get there fast (probably like 8k ea/scroll in some months) or u can get there with the fairy rings that takes like 40 seconds walking what makes it slower items in-game if u dont wanna pay the cash for a scroll.

You're welcome. That code's a tangled mess from 2007, and I can see how someone got a bit confused when they were trying to do the intended update. I'll try to do a bit of a tidy-up, since it's apparently giving us difficulty now :)

In the old school GFX engine, we're not going to be able to create huge scenery-busting animations like some of the advanced stuff from RS3. Any time the player tries to extend a limb outside their 1x1 tile, we get render order problems. This necessarily constrains what Alfred can do as a flashy emote.

1. The "dater" hasn't yet confirmed what percentage of the items that enter the economy come in through *ulrah. Mod Mat K has stated this. It would be unfair to nerf the drop table of Zul*ah even if everyone assumes it is OP, (me included). However, it isn't backed by statistical data that the data warehouse can confirm or deny. I'm sure the facts will be released soon and we will see what happens to the drop table after that information has been processed.

2. I believe the teleport update is a good start. As Mod Ash stated, the data confirmed there are millions of teleports in the game and they come in at a way faster rate than they are used. Although, this is a gigantic nerf 20-1, the numbers might be scarier than the actual effect. Zulrah teleports were around 80gp each. Teleports will eventually settle around 2-4k. Without any actual drop table nerfs besides the teleports, the profits from slaying Zulrah is still "OP." There are also alternative methods to reach Zulandrah, Example: Fairy Ring. Please utilize other aspects in the game before becoming a keyboard warrior and spamming that Jagex hates the players.

3. The change in the Zulrah kill process I think will help the overall farming of Zulrah. Some players will find alternative methods to make money instead of only this one facet, which could lead to a lot of good. If they don't want to look for alternative methods, Zulrah will still be consistently profitable. (Pending future nerfs to the drop table)

Overall, please give the update time to settle. As a player with 6k KC, I just want players to know that I, like many other players, really enjoy Zulrah the way it was, however I am open to change, especially if it's effects were harmful to the longevity of the game.

Awesome to finally have max capes in the game!

One thing, I'm almost certain many people don't want max cape to have the same stats as fire cape but much better stats than fire cape . To my knowledge this wasn't polled. Another cape with same stats is a waste of resources, really. Think of all the capes there could be: prayer capes, strength capes, accuracy capes, ranging capes, magic capes, magic defensive capes, ranged defensive capes, crush capes, slash capes, stab capes, ...

I wish all those options were used more. If people prefer +4 str bonus to defensive cape then it simply means either people are clueless about defensive stats or defense is underpowered in comparison to strength and accuracy. There should be no such things as best-in-slot items...

Pretty cool update. I've been seeing a few maxed players around my homeworld lately and I'm excited to see the new cape.

Also, glad you guys changed the Zulrah rotations. Zulrah had a decent learning curve, but was fairly easy after the first like 5-10 kills. Hopefully this will make it more challenging.

Did you permantly removed in-game messages of your farming patches status?

E.g: "Your herbs are ready to be harvested".

I want to think that this happend because of the release of the new spell on Lunar Spellbook, but what will happen with the people that haven't completed lunar diplomacy?

How about removing scrolls altogether and adding a new rare drop "Serpentine Amulet" that can teleport you there and you charge with scales (500 scales per tele?). Make it tradeable and it would keep the Zulrah campers happy as well as adding another sink for scales
