So I'm looking at this from a logical standpoint. The Fountain of Rune has no use, currently. It needs a revamp.

Problems:
~Money can be made easily without it
~It op's pkers in that location.
~There is no experience.

So a good solution would be as follows.

Solution:
Add in xp. Not at nearly the current rates. Possibly halved. Or add an xp cap/hour. The over powering of pkers can't really be handled but at the very least there should be more incentive to go there.

About the loot bags, skillers can use the bag to hold the rocks while keeping an invy of food and others supplies to defend themselves and escape from pk'ers.
Since when does a skiller have an account built for PKing? 99% of PKers have purpose built accounts. Why would they bring full PK gear that won't even be payed for by one inventory of resources?

I was very excited for the ents because I have 99 woodcutting and they are located in multi-combat. I was looking forward to killing them with my friends to hopefully make a lot of money from the noted logs. Ents are a perfect way to combine aspects of combat and skilling because it makes getting logs less monotonous and more exciting. When I killed them today for the first time, I was a little disappointed.

The ents look REALLY COOL, and, like I said above, the idea of intertwining combat with skilling is brilliant (Just like the runite golems).

However, I was disappointed when I found the ents to be small in number (I only found 4 in level 7-10 wildy, but I didn't go to the other spot yet), and I didn't like the fact that only one person could chop the log upon the ent's death even though multiple people could have killed the ent. But I have to say that I was mostly surprised at how low the woodcutting rates are with ents. At 99 woodcutting with a rune axe, I would only average around 5 logs per ent (a couple magics, a couple yews, and a maple or a willow). I even went back and tried using a dragon axe and, while i got a few more logs, it didn't seem like risking a dragon axe was worth the logs.

Here are my suggestions directed specifically towards reworking ents:

1.) Increase the amount of logs received: More logs = more of an incentive to go to the wildy.
2.) Increase the amount of ents in the wildy: You could probably almost double the number of ents in the location where I was.
3.) Make it so anyone is able to cut the ent log: This will encourage teams of skillers to participate in ent killing and will therefore increase their chances of survival if they are attacked by a group of pkers. You should also probably increase the strength and HP of ents if you choose to implement this idea.
4.) Bird nest drops would also be cool to see :)

Overall, great concept but not entirely worth the risk. I hope to see ideas like mine implemented in the near future!

Agreed. Who in their right mind would risk alching things for money in lvl 47 wildy?

Alching is done mostly for the XP and not as much for the profit...

lol alching is done for xp but people would rather alch while making money who wouldn't?
