-Its' best bolt effect costs ~8k per bolt and it's countered by a potion and shield that are practically free.
-Dark Bow sucks ass compared to a DDS which can special 4x at 1/40th the cost

Range is soooo OP yet it's the least popular combat style. Riiiigght.
I love the extremely over-used reason that everyone shrugs off range (the darkbow) realistically u can't sit there and try to blow off all updates to an entire skill because of one weapon that is very inaccurate anyways...

i dont mind the whip tentacle idea, but the smoke battle staff and that magic amulet are bad ideas, think of something unique. why not add on to existing content? maybe the smoke devil could drop an add on to barrows gloves that gives them a gaseous particle effect which increases pray bonus by +2.

Voting no on both of these items, here we go with the start of OP weapons coming into the game.

Whipping 48's with max strength bonus and barraging 38-39 with the necklace and staff of dead.

I completely agree. This is honestly cringeworthy, I feel the Old School team has almost no respect for the Old School aspect of the game. Every single update involves making the game easier and bringing in more powerful items.

Also, the start of bringing OP items in the game was the re-introduction of GWD, then going further by releasing additional items like SOD and ACB. Everyone brushed off those saying that it would be a slippery slope leading to more OP items, but look where we are now. One single update doesn't ruin the game, but many combined do. What will things look like 1-2 years from now?

A freaking staff for 92 slayer? You guys are gotta be ******** me. This is a joke. CHANGE the drop ffs, i aint working my as off for a noob staff that no one will use.
