Did membership get more expensive? Because up to now i had to pay under 20 euros for 3 months and now it's over 23. I know this question is not related to this topic, however i don't know where else to ask it, because oldschool support is to confusing.
I chose this because there's new land to be discovered. It gives them a lot more space to put new content in the game we can also like. Such as new towns, undersea areas, caves etc. This will ofcourse be voted for, but it just gives an great advantage to the community. People are mentioning summoning and dungeoneering Always? Well you can play that on rs3 if you like to , let oldschool move in a differrent direction! And to be sure, don't let it get dusty!

The fact that the minority, such a low percentage to boot, is going to get their way with a large content poll such as this is what spells disaster for OSRS. There is no reason for this to still be how things are done. I agree with polling, but letting the players that advocate no updates, the very thing that would see the game die, have their way over such a close vote is absolutely ridiculous. The majority of players should not be penalized in favor of the minority. It's just nonsensical. Punished the whole class for one student's behavior.
First of all, your analogy isn't even close to correct. It isn't one person out of a large population. It is one person out of three. Right now roughly 33% of the OSRS players are opposed to sailing. That's not an insignificant minority.
Second, Jagex set up the rules for OSRS over a year ago and they've been using the 75% threshold to pass all polls consistently. There have been several polls that passed that I opposed or vice versa but I don't complain because Jagex has been consistent in how they have managed this issue.
Third, there are plenty of players (including myself) that are open to new skills in OSRS. The issue is that the proposals haven't been good. Last time there was a user generated suggestion that was great but the implementation proposed by Jagex was terrible and that's why it was rejected. There are similar issues this time. If Jagex can address some of the concerns that are being raised that might be enough for 12% of the 33% to change to a "yes" vote and get this to pass.

Exactly.
It's too late this go 'round to do that. They should have been active in these forums and addressing ALL of these concerns throughout (and they were not).
Should they decide to actively participate in a discussion on sailing and specifically address questions and concerns (once this fails) then they would have a shot at getting another 15 to 20 percent of votes in favour of it.
I liked the idea of sailing.. just not the lack of information available prior to the poll opening (so even though I liked the idea, I had no choice but to vote no).

I can't believe the braindead children voting no for sailing, if you don't like it you don't train it simple as that. You have no right to ruin the hype for the others who actually look forward to sailing.
Jagex is trying to breathe life into OSRS by creating a new skill and you're trying to prevent that from happening. Remember when dungeoneering was released? Majority of the players hated it and said it should've been a minigame, look now. More than half of you morons who hated it love it now.
Voting no for sailing isn't keeping OSRS OSRS, it's preventing OSRS from having an active playerbase. OSRS for me, gets more boring for every day that passes because it hardly has content.
I VOTED

Maybe if you try RC, Hunter and Cons you wouldn't be bored..
Train existing skills before insisting those voting no are doing it just so you don't have skills to train.

Can it be that i don't train them because they are insanely boring? You should think before typing. I know perfectly what those skills are about, and that's why i dont train them. I want new content, something that makes the game interesting. I don't want to run back and forth like a monkey crafting runes.
