Probably no one will read this but I just wanna throw out my opinion here.

I think introducing a new skill is amazing. As I was voting I noticed that 32% of the community voted no. Guys c'mon, we need new content. This doesn't affect other skills, doesn't affect the gameplay and it's one more feature you can enjoy. We even have control over the rewards .. Why not try ? If you are like me you just do what you really enjoy.

Again, we need new content, or the game will die.

I'm very excited for this update, even if it isn't looking so good on the voting. I've been playing RuneScape for around 10 years now and have been around it since the days of classic. That being said, I completely despise RS3 -- to many vets, it's complete trash based upon many of the new updates.

Sure, the GE was a horrible mistake on Oldschool, but that aside, new content really needs to be added. When you've logged as many hours as somebody like myself has, new content is very much desired. I would love to have something new to do that I already haven't put hundreds or even thousands of hours into.

Sailing will be something to give us vets something new, something to make RuneScape feel new to us again without ruining the base mechanics. I would love to see something new in RuneScape that doesn't require dealing with the EOC and hundreds of other game-breaking updates.

It seems to me that many of the people which oppose this update are still generally new to RuneScape (or even just old school) and still have new things to discover. If Oldschool doesn't receive new content updates such as this, I guarantee that players will start dropping because there's just nothing else or new to do.

I'm really dissapointed some of the community is being negative about this potential update... It's sad that the Developers will probably not release this new skill without 75% positive votes... I reckon that it should be released whether or not the poll feedback is positive or negative. I'd be keen to give it a go, if it's not successful, it can always be taken out, better to try it before you cast it aside (y)

So you want them to add stuffs without polling?
