So far about one third of players have voted no and two thirds have voted yes, so if this percentage holds up Sailing will not pass the pol, which in my opinion is very sad for the Future of Old School RuneScape.

If Sailing doesn't pass the poll, since two thirds have so far voted yes to Sailing, can Jagex make a new game based around Sailing?

Here's a paying customer's opinion:

This "skill" Sailing to a 13 years RS veteran will always be in the shadow of Dungeoneering, nothing but a pathetic attempt of a remake - nothing else needs to be said.

The only selling point of Sailing for me is the new amulet/dragon crossbow/prayer add-on's

- I certainly do like the idea of 'BIS' 3 amulets specializing in their own respective combat skill, the regen is cool aswell - for far too long we've neglected the general idea of 'health regeneration' , with the regen bracelet and 'Rapid Heal' pray being the only viable method of speeding up your health regen.

-dragon crossbow, god yes please Jagex!

Bring back Summoning and Dungeoneering, the golden days of Runescape was not 07, it was when we would whine about 07 being the 'golden days' while we wreck bosses and slayer monsters with sheer power thanks to our well earned chaotic crossbow, steel titan, rigour etc

Voted no. Many existing skills need new content, and I don't think they only way to do that is by introducing a whole new skill altogether. "The closer you get to the light, the greater your shadow becomes."

My decision is also a little influenced by my reaction to when Dungeoneering first came out, which drastically altered the game in a way that I didn't like. I don't think a lot of people realize how much introducing a new skill changes a game. There's only like what, 100-200 maxed players in the whole game and we're already trying to introduce a new skill? Seems silly :P "The closer you get to the light, the greater your shadow becomes."

don't act spoiled.. lol you're voting no to an update because 2 of your fav things to do got removed.. play the game properly ..why even relate them together.. it's just silly this is why Jagex should make it so we only need 65% yes to pass a poll because people vote no for silly reasons..

They're just art pieces, the graphics won't be updated they did this with every update so far :P they show you it in amazing graphics so you get the idea of it :D then release it with Old School graphics lol

Dude, they have explained this 2 times now.. Dungeoneering and Summoning won't come out the point in Sailing was to give Old School a new direction to head in not turn it into Pre-EoC or RuneScape Three :P .
