@ Modmatk, why won´t you add vesta armour? It didnt say in the dev log:/


We felt the Vesta armour was just a bit too OP. If of course the community decides otherwise, we can add it in.

Loads of great ideas coming in guys, keep them coming!

I don't want the dragon plate coming from the highest level slayer monster, we ought to get high end rewards for killing the highest level slayer monsters.

Lets be honest, the dragon plate body is just cosmetic, bandos and barrows will always be used over it. I would prefer something that's actually useful to a high level slayer, like a whip vine or some equivalent.

Let the new boss drop a dragon platebody sure, but not the actually level 93 slayer monster please.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could answer my two questions Mod Matt K.

Will it ever be possible to get the staff for modelling + designing new graphics rather than reusing the existing content, and if so when?

Just wondering because I'm sure things such as dragon claws (as an example) can then be created as a result.

Also Mod Matt K, you should re-poll the revenant question as I am aware that many people were not fully aware of what exactly the revenants will drop or not.

Furthermore, will be ever get a larger team (by recruiting more members to old school) to write + design new quests?

It already has passed and their cave is in the slayer dungeon.


For the love of god please make this a task only kill-able monster. Krakens were a success to prevent campers, in terms of crowding but of course not everyone is a fan of the rewards themselves from those beasties.

I feel kind of upset. Whenever I do the effort to post on these forums, I get ignored. My feedback was quite simple..

"More risk = more reward". Whenever I do a level 3 clue I get 2-3 of them leading me to the wilderness. Do you plan to boost the wilderness clues reward a bit? Because, quite frankly, going into the wilderness couple of time, to get couple of law rune, some nature rune, one or two thousand of coins and a rune axe isn't quite enjoyable. I don't mind the reward much usually, but I don't see why clues wouldn't get better reward with the increased risk of the wilderness.


Back in 07 we didn't need rejuvenation updates to get people into the wildy. It was booming without this kind of content and people did clues all the time. I know it's the same tune everyone has probably sang to you, but sorry, my thoughts still remain as you take that risk on clue scrolls without boosting their drops. Always has been a fine system in my opinion.


Back in 2006-2007, the wilderness was active enough for everyone to be too busy to focus on people doing a clue scroll. I died a couple of time doing clues before this update, yet it would happen rarely (died twice in maybe 20 clues). Nowaday, there are strong NPC which means you have to take enough armor/food to stand a chance near them, and you have got pkers, whom are used to kill everyone, even if they have nothing on them, for the sake of it.

Sounds normal to me that clue scroll get a slightly boosted loot if they lead you to the wilderness.


Good point, I actually had not thought of the added bosses as an additional threat necessitating more armor and food. Instead of buffing clue drops maybe just buff alch value of caskets and/or scrolls, but make them unable to actually be alched? That was just a quick suggestion, haven't thought it all the way through though.

The black chin idea is great because it gives a real incentive for people to go there, but also gives an actual risk element since it'll actually be worth PKing those hunting them. Is there not something similar you could do with other skiller spots like ents? Change the logs that you get so that when you fm/fletch them they'll give more xp or something?

Also please either make PvP override PvM whilst in the wilderness or don't allow monsters in the wild to pj you while attacking somebody, broken mechanics.

- Can Dondakan in the Keldagrim mine teleport on RoW be replaced with Tai Bwo Wanni teleport instead? (I can think of many reasons why it would be more beneficial than to a location majority of players don't even know exist.

- Risking full inventory of glories isn't worth it for just 1 extra charge, i recommend doubling it to 8 from the original 4 and it's not very practical to go there just to recharge a couple. Sure it's handy if you're in the area, but that's about it.

- Could you scale the prayer bonuses on blessed d'hide and god rune items closer to initiate at least? Seems unfair melee gets superior prayer bonus which forces rangers to wear non ranged armor. (1 per item seems underpowered)

+1 Prayer for Coif
+3 Prayer for D'hide Body
+2 Prayer for D'hide Chaps

I think it's reasonable, will definitely give them far more value as a treasure trail reward as well.

- Regarding woodcutting experience while chopping Ent trunks, will this be altered and scaled based on woodcutting level at least? 25 experience is honestly a joke, might as well not get any at all. At the least should be 50-75 experience, considering you're chopping a vicious tree abomination! A combination of loot + experience will keep people coming, the gp isn't quite enough when it comes to skilling.
(At 83 woodcutting i was getting 6-7k exp per hour while using dragon axe)


-Regarding resource collection rates; Will we be able to chop and mine quicker? This severely disadvantages woodcutting and mining. Simply takes way too long, especially at a very dangerous location.

(mining rates for iron is fine, I'm talking about all of the other ores)

I don't like the idea of Morrigan, Statius and Zuriel. I'd be very happy if a J mod or anyone wants to check out my suggestion thread. Quick find code: 322-323-809-65321816. It contains ideas for new drops from every boss including mage robes, new capes, a new amulet, new boots, etc. I designed all of em with the idea of keeping the game balanced and not effecting existing gear much. Thank you.
