Farming is a gathering skill too, once you've planted and waited for your precious crops to grow. Please add an herb patch with the incentives below:

Speaking of the resource area, farming is a gathering skill too. They should add an herb patch with reduced growth times and double or triple herbs you'd normally get from outside wilderness.

People could mine the iron ores, while waiting for the herbs to grow. They would be risking tons of herbs, seeds, possibly runes for using lunar spells to fertilize. Of course they'd need to have a Leprechaun there to note the harvests.

If there is room to add an allotment patch too, would be nice.


I really like the increase in yield idea, giving players the option to multitask with the additions that we now have should be rewarded when accomplished efficiently.

for a few items such as dragon platebodys and black chinchompas could we somehow have a way to use already ingame items somehow be required to obtain or make these items, such as a dragon chainbody for a platebody, and somehow find a way to make a red chinchompa be required to either hunt for black chins or a way to combine the red with the black..... Especially the chinchompas reds are heavily botted and it would be kool to see an item sink with them as atm for the price i can profit from the chins its just not worth someones time to even hunt at all.

- Add wilderness tasks to an achievement diary. Things such as recharging prayer points in the wilderness, opening the muddy chest, or killing the chaos elemental.

- Give lava dragons a better chance at dropping visage

- Give the greater demons a 150% bonus experience gain while killing them in the wilderness. Also add better drops to them which drop more frequently than greaters not in the wilderness. (dragonstones, different rune items, etc)


- Introduce a logout timer in the wilderness. Instead of 10 seconds after combat, make it 10 seconds regardless of the player being in combat or not. It's too easy for players to immediately log out after seeing an approaching enemy.


No to the red ones!

So... We have to take 7500gp to the resource area... and thousands more on top of that so we can note items? Seems to me like Jagex just doesn't care about skillers and caters to all the whining PKers and PvMers who can already make millions.


They care about skillers, they just understand the Wild is meant for pkers. You don't like the risk, stay out of the wild.

Oldschool Runescape team, would it be possible to start thinking of ideas or asking people for ideas about introducing "money sinks" and "item sinks" in the game. This is something that NEEDS to be addressed now, for the future. I was thinking about introducing a cosmetic item shop sold by an NPC maybe in varrock or somewhere that sell untradable cosmetic items, maybe change the color of items like a whip for a HIGH price. I think the community could come up with some cool cosmetic items to vote on. Especially seeing how party hats and other rares are worth nothing it would be nice if there were ways you could show your wealth and have RARE Desirable items again.

This brings healthy money sinks into the game, to slow down the continual creation of more and more gold. I still need to think of an "item sink" because it is just as important as "money sinks" but i just want to make sure that this is brought to the Oldschool teams attention.

Smoke Devils: If they are going to have a good drop like a dragon plate, maybe you could go ahead and put them in the wilderness cave below the pirate's hideout. That cave is useless at the moment and serves no real purpose.


is that the cave with a few random hill gaints? cuz i personally think that would be kool to see something down there rather then just being there just for the sake of it being their :P .

Balancing changes

These three bosses definitely need buffs to the drops. One idea is elite clue scrolls - maybe the next update will be targeted towards clues, who knows?

Demi Bosses
The Chaos Elemental, Chaos Fanatic, and the Crazed Archaeologist
A fedora, or a pet? Should these bosses drop cosmetic items? When was the last time you hunted a boss for a cosmetic item? No, thank you. I'd vote yes if:
- the pet offers magical boosts similar to the Wolpertinger familiar
- the hat offers some sort of unique effect, such as a slight XP increase to all skills while worn (1 or 2%)

Fountain of Rune
Charging the amulet of glory and ring of wealth
There are a few problems with this. No player in their right mind would risk a bag of expensive amulets to receive one extra charge on each. Add two extra charges and we'll call it a deal.
Two of the four locations will not be used. These are Dondakan and Varrock square. Why? Varrock Square has its own teleport: the spell and the tablet. No one uses the Keldagrim mines either. Change these to, perhaps, Catherby and the Grand Tree? I can see uses for both of these teleports.

Bosses
Adding armor similar to PvP armor (Statius', Morrigan's and Zuriel's)
This is an excellent idea, though the addition of new armor sets right after an enormous update seems to kill the idea. Perhaps releasing this content in the future would be a better option. If you do add this, however, I suggest finding a way to relate the armor to the boss that drops it. Maybe a four-piece mage's set, spun and dropped by Venenatis herself.

Lava Dragons
Adding a new Herblore ingredient
Great idea. Though I'd lean more towards making this potion similar to a super antifire potion, except its effects would only reduce dragonfire damage by 80-90%, instead of 100%.

Rogue Chests:
Remove mind/fire runes and add combination runes (generous please).
Remove ashes, they do nothing in OSRS. (or give ashes a purpose)
Change tuna to bass.
Remove pike.
Add soul runes.
Add a chance at a cool npc outfit (tradeable and decent effect/stats).
Add ring of stone/regen brace at like 1/2000 chance

You literally lose everything if you die here. It should be a little more generous due to the insane risk of dying. At other places in the wild it is a lot easier to escape.


Ents: Give xp based on the logs chopped! 25 xp per log is dreadful.
