Additional wilderness things that should be polled:

- Make the Chaos Elemental a boss worth hunting. Instead of developing a completely new boss, add useful items you would've given a new boss to the Chaos Elementals drop tables. Make it significantly stronger with drops that rival GWD and are exclusive to the chaos ele.

- Add the Chaos Elemental as a high level slayer task.

- Remove the wilderness ditch


- Add mystic and other mage items (bloods\deaths) as drops for the mage arena NPCs. Zamorak mages could drop black mystic, Saradomin mages could drop blue, Guthix mages could drop a new green mystic, for example. Maybe add mage books and wands as very rare drops aswell.

- Give the anvil at the ruins a 5% experience boost for using it.

- Change the NPCs in the fire\hill giant dungeon in deep wilderness (near mage bank) to contain high levelled slayer monsters with an increased drop rate of high valued items. Also give a slayer XP bonus for killing these monsters. If you ever add new high level slayer monsters then expand this dungeon with the new monsters. High risk, high reward.

- Add an increased amount of rune spawns in the dark warrior fortress and in the deep wilderness. A spawn of 20-50 chaos, natures, deaths, and bloods might give someone an incentive to go out and gather. Also add level 1 rats and other monsters at and around the spawn points to attack players so they can't just hop worlds on the respawn points.

- Randomize the rewards for the muddy chest located in the center of the lava maze to include high levelled items such as dragonstones, diamonds, and rune items. Also make the key rarer to balance this. Currently it gives junk such as mithril dagger, 50 gp, and a ruby. Who would go through the trouble of going there for that?

- Add wilderness tasks to an achievement diary. Things such as recharging prayer points in the wilderness, opening the muddy chest, or killing the chaos elemental.

- Give lava dragons a better chance at dropping visage

- Give the greater demons a 150% bonus experience gain while killing them in the wilderness. Also add better drops to them which drop more frequently than greaters not in the wilderness. (dragonstones, different rune items, etc)

- Introduce a logout timer in the wilderness. Instead of 10 seconds after combat, make it 10 seconds regardless of the player being in combat or not. It's too easy for players to immediately log out after seeing an approaching enemy.


At the end of the day you need to give people real incentives to go into the wilderness. The reason why the EP system worked is because it gave people who wouldn't otherwise enter the wilderness to go there and engage in PvP. It rivaled the best money making methods outside of the wilderness, and sometimes exceeded it. The current updates in the wilderness give almost zero incentive to go there over staying in a safe area with no risk of being killed. The incentives need to be significant, not mediocre. Mediocre incentives result in mediocre activity.

Mods u missed a big suggestion! Make the island from the fountain of rune bigger so we can clan war there!

50gp a item is to cheap!


Disagree, coal is barely 200 gp and iron is 50-70 gp. You'd be losing money there mining, also it would take too long to mine a full inventory of mithril and adamantite to actually be worth it currently.


You can only mine rune ores at that place right?

Cut back the amount of worlds. This shouldn't even be polled. and really wouldn't require a poll because it's not changing the game itself, just servers. Jagex should manage the servers, not the players. It's for the better of the game (and especially the wilderness) to cut alot of them out. There are not enough players to maintain even mediocre activity with the amount of worlds we have.


Support, this must be a decision by Jagex. Players shouldn't have the ability to decide these type of decisions.

If the community grows, simply split up the servers to provide more worlds.
(As it currently stands, 1 single server can host multiple worlds 5-10?)

Oldschool Runescape team, would it be possible to start thinking of ideas or asking people for ideas about introducing "money sinks" and "item sinks" in the game. This is something that NEEDS to be addressed now, for the future. I was thinking about introducing a cosmetic item shop sold by an NPC maybe in varrock or somewhere that sell untradable cosmetic items, maybe change the color of items like a whip for a HIGH price. I think the community could come up with some cool cosmetic items to vote on. Especially seeing how party hats and other rares are worth nothing it would be nice if there were ways you could show your wealth and have RARE Desirable items again.

This brings healthy money sinks into the game, to slow down the continual creation of more and more gold. I still need to think of an "item sink" because it is just as important as "money sinks" but i just want to make sure that this is brought to the Oldschool teams attention.

You already have to pay 7,500 gp to enter.

Respawn time on Golems is slow.

World hopping isn't an option, without dishing out 7,500 gp every single time you hop.

There's 3 other locations in the wilderness with runite rocks outside of the resource area.

for a few items such as dragon platebodys and black chinchompas could we somehow have a way to use already ingame items somehow be required to obtain or make these items, such as a dragon chainbody for a platebody, and somehow find a way to make a red chinchompa be required to either hunt for black chins or a way to combine the red with the black..... Especially the chinchompas reds are heavily botted and it would be kool to see an item sink with them as atm for the price i can profit from the chins its just not worth someones time to even hunt at all.

Edit~Also this would technically boost up the prices for both items, items being the item being sinked out of the game (dragon chains, and red chins), and the item being obtained in the end from combining the items as it would be harder to get the upgraded versions as it would involve an extra item to make the improvement therefore meaning less would be in the game (improved item being dragon platebodys and black chins).
