Conservatism like that bothers me, too! Why was "quality of life" put in quotations mockingly as if it shouldn't be a thing? So would rather play a wonky, non-functioning, eye-gouging game because that constitutes a challenge?

Please buff the max cape to add some dominance over the fire cape and mage arena capes please. I strongly feel that pures should not be able to have the ability to have the same tier gear as those that have spent many hundreds of hours working on their skills to achieve a cape of caliber equal to that of the cape.

If anything, please add a completionist cape alongside this cape to give players something to strive to achieve instead of wasting time for just another "skill cape".

Runescape needs a more "well rounded" community that is not just all about combat or skiller accounts to vary the community but players that are able to competr and participate in all updates and activities.

like it or not this is part of the difficulty of the boss, and it being slightly more difficult to see than everywhere else in the game is not a good enough reason to justify a nerf

I'm not putting myself on any pedestal. I'm trying to get people below ground zero to ground zero. Consideration of others should be basic.

Buff or nerf relates to how something is done or its rewards, not its appearance. You would be justified if we were talking about changing Kril's attack mechanics or something, but relieving damaging appearance is QOL. Again, I just don't understand why anyone would oppose QOL. I don't have trouble seeing and yet I won't take this away from people who might actually benefit or even need it...yet you dismiss them and call them whiners. Try never discussing a problem and see what a mess the world would be.

If someone puts in the time required to obtain a max cape, IMO they deserve more than just a cosmetic item. I don't understand why something that takes 30mins-1hour to get should trump an item that takes thousands of hours. By that logic this wooden shield I looted should be far better than an elysian spirit shield which was created by someone with 85 smithing!

Why should skillers benefit from a BIS item for combat or even just match the current BIS, even though its the skillers who supply a majority of the supplies pvmers/pvpers use on a daily basis.

YES to Max Cape
Yes to BIS or atleast being able to to use accumulator/fire cape/god mage capes on it one at a time

By that logic the elite achievement diary armour or gold castle wars armour should be among the best in game. I want to see multiple different sources for the best equipment (rather than essentially just PvMing) however maxing an account is a bit of a stretch.

Even if the max cape became the BiS does +3 crush defence or something even impact the outcome of a fight lol.

Ardy cloak is BIS for stab, and getting the best items tends to be a bit of a stretch, you have to grind to get what you want.. makes perfect sense to reward someone who has essentially completed the game, and give more incentive to people to actually play the game.
