My greatest priority would be a Smithing update.

The goals would be to produce items at a sensible Smithing level related to the combat level they can be worn or wielded.

Rune items should be kept as valuable and possibly made and used at higher levels, with existing or new materials used at lower levels to fill in the gaps. I would like rune to be some of the best armour and weapons because this is RuneScape, so rune items should be among the best.

I would like for example to be able to make level 10 gear at level 10 Mining and Smithing, and level 90 gear at level 90 Mining and Smithing.

I want the items to be tradeable and profitable, so the materials and the final product should be rare enough to maintain some value.

PVM should not be allowed to devalue Mining and Smithing through drops.

The best Armour and Weapons should be made through non combat skilling and be highly profitable and tradeable, and only rarely dropped form monsters.

A player who Mines and Smiths should not be required to boss fight to be able to get materials to make items with their non combat skills, though monsters could be an alternative way to get resources, it should not be the only way.

This, they can add a new tier of "coal" for high level armour, for exaple something like "ascended rune armour" with copypaste stats of dragon or barrows that needs both rune armour and 2 new types of metal bars (ores from mining). same can be done for fletching and crafting for both ranged and mage

I keep seeing players suggest updating the Prayer skill, but all of the suggestions seem to be combat oriented.

I would suggest a skillers prayer book.

Prayers for example to increase resources gained when skilling, increase the speed of mining, woodcutting, fishing, etc., improve XP gains.

I've also seen a few players suggest improving Firemaking, but haven't seen many suggestions on how to improve it other than adding an Infernal Adz.

My idea on improving Firemaking would be to make it more profitable and useful in both combat and non combat. I haven't really thought about it too much, so this is just off the top of my head.

Use Firemaking in Herblore to heat potions and change their properties, making improved potions.

Different ashes could be produced from burning different logs, then used in potion making.

Use firemaking to create flaming arrows for use VS ice creatures.

Use Firemaking to create explosives for use in combat. The explosives could be thrown like a ranged weapon at a target after being lit with firemaking.

Firemaking could be used in dungeons to burn through roots to get at resources and monsters.

I could probably think of more, but I think that's a good start for just some things off the top of my head.

Thieving could also use better loot, and be more than a way to get low level seeds and small amounts of coins and mostly useless objects. Clue Scrolls are good, how about some rarer items like gems, ores, Orbs to make battelstaffs, new thieving gear to reduce the change of getting caught, being able to use thieving to get into houses, castles, fortresses, dungeons for better resources and monster locations.
Hi.

*'d suggest adding new rare ores that are more pure than normal ores and found rarely when Mining, Thieving, from Implings, in Fishing caskets, in caskets dug up when farming, etc.

Top priority (which should be pretty obvious): Fix what is broken. And I don't mean bugs. I mean basic and EPIC failures in the current system. Like fixing Zulrah and Wyvern drop tables so they don't allow players to make 1m+/hr. Doing something about untradables in PvP, so that people can't rag in the best possible armor for their attack style (Void).

As for updates AFTER [/i] the above issues (and others like them) are fixed.

1. A minigame with decent rewards that is somewhat interesting to play, (stealing creation??) so that there's something for people who like PvP to do outside of the wilderness.

2. Something that makes using magic in PvP plausible (like polypore in RS3 when it came out), but that isn't utterly broken (unlike polypore)

3. Mid and Lower level PvM and monsters, so that people who aren't maxed can do something other than training and Barrows

4. Any F2P update that would make the game playable outside of PvP

Things NOT to do:

1. Adding Claws, Soul Split, Torva, Divine, Storm of Armadyl or anything else that majorly impacted PvP in a negative way. (or anything like it) The AGS is already enough of a problem. (nerf it? :P )

2. Adding content that becomes essentially mandatory for anyone who wants to PK or do high level PvM. As in curses, which made PvP impossible at a high level for anyone who wanted to play casually and didn't want to spend 100s of hours making money for dragon bones. Or high level quests that unlock highly beneficial weapons/armor (like RFD for barrows gloves, which is already a ridiculously high time investment, along with vengeance).

3. Adding anything, like Soul Split, PvP armors, Storm of Armadyl, claws, or bolas, that gives people incentive to No Honor PK (as in rushing, pjing, etc.) Things like these essentially reward players for preventing other players from being able to play. This is already enough of a problem with target pjing and Duel Arena spec restore.

Higher level and group content would definitely be great. More solo content would only harm the game in my opinion, looking back at Zulrah and lower level content seems like a waste of development time to me, since there's a lot more higher level players relative to new players joining.
Also the Clan Chat system seems like a really great idea, would maybe even be better if it would be cross-games, with different 'chapters' for both OSRS and RS3, who are seperated in highscores and clan scores, but can keep in contact through the clan chat.

How about you deal with BOT problem first then deal with stuff that dont need to be put into game. Once all the bots are gone then ask the questions of what content Note to all who want more content play eoc there is plenty there and its already screwed up and im sure soon so will Osrs they way things are going
