It isn't jagex's 'mistake' that so many players blindly believed that the supermajority of the community would support what they wanted.

The greatest mistake I've seen in this 'rares' issue is that so many people didn't take the time to think about POSSIBLE outcomes, before voting 'yes' on that very first question about these items... well that, and the fact that so many hold these paper hats in a higher regard than they do the old game.

Debatable, the fact the polls were such a flop shows that there have been mistakes. You say people didn't think, as though you expected everyone to. You're too logical and tunnel visioned about facts and statements. It's been obvious from the start, to the end, what the majority want, and the fact that the outcome is so far away from what people what, to me, shows there has certainly been mistakes.

Also the way the polls were worded was supposedly to do with what the community was talking about (great logic), yet now around 90% of things to do with rares are talking about how messed up the polls have ended up.

They've been consistent in certain ways (which you love) but not so much in others. I know you'll revert to your same phrase you repeat to everyone. But even you must face up to this outcome being the wrong one (based on what people want), even if it's the right one technically (based on their rules).

How silly of me to believe everyone capable of thinking? rofl

It's not about what the majority want. It's about what the supermajority want (or in this case, didn't support).

Yes, plenty are claiming how 'messed up' the polls were now.. but IMO that's nothing more than cries of those who didn't get what they wanted... and now want that nobody should enjoy these cosmetic items simply because they didn't get what they wanted.

And I'm the one with 'tunnel vision'? lmao

if you have tunnel vision then I must have it too.

so to those of you that can play the lottery, if your numbers are close enough (one or 2 numbers either way) are you gunna throw a fit at the government because its close enough and you think you should win, or are you going to suck it up and accept that you didn't win. (you can compare that statement to the rare polls)

they are new items entirely, so that means they are not discontinued by default as well because we didn't vote for the limitation on their release before hand, that's one of the many reasons why the question was worded that way around.

so quite crying starting next year they will only be released once a year during holiday events.

Better quickly change that 'holiday events' to 'holiday periods' before they pounce on you the same way they did to me rofl

Hmm, I don't like this idea :L
85% of the people disagree.. It'd be great if it was exactly like Old RS, Party Hats on the ground; discontinued. Christmas Crackers in inventory; discontinued. Santa hats on the ground; discontinued etc..

And if you don't have the ways to do how it was exactly in Old RS can you at least discontinue the items so that they become rare and that you can just wear/have/wield the item happily thinking about how it's going to become very expensive and how experienced you will be ^.^

Someone won the jackpot, and he didn't even have a lottery ticket!

It's not about being capable. I think you're silly to EXPECT people to think ahead and not just click the button 'Yes'. I would put money on you not expecting that, but whether you'll admit to that or not is up to you I suppose.

And you believe that is correct? It shouldn't have been the supermajority. That's just one of the mistakes. I know you'll just say 'that's the rules etc etc.'. Doesn't change that they've ended up with the wrong outcome.

The only reason these are called rares, is so we know what they are talking about. The people complaining they won't be rares anymore don't seem to get that. Make them stupid expensive hurt the economy last time.

Geez sorry crow, calm down! :( I'm sorry my comment made your lotto theory fail to function with your vision regarding the rare poll. RAGE.

Also, whatever you write about new items being continued by default.. your assumptions may be true or false. But the very fact is that Jagex did not communicate that to the players prior to the poll or during it. Good day.
