When it says you will have the chance during corresponding holiday periods, does that mean released in the same way (randomly dropped)?

The actual way of bringing them in is better than anything we had the chance to vote on though - but there are questions to be answered.

1) Can they spawn in places such as Quest areas, or the Wilderness (they should do).
2) Is there set spawn points that will be re-used, or is it literally any accessible square in the game is a potential spot (which it should be).
3) Will H'ween masks be released as set (all in 1 week) and if so, in equal amounts or random?
4) Will Phats be dropped, or just Xmas crackers (should be just crackers).

They need to be hard enough to find that they will take a reasonable amount of time to find. Because otherwise there will be a ridiculous amount in game.

If each item took on average ~5mins to be found there would still be 155k in the game by the end of the week. (If my quick maths isn't totally wrong)

This is a really bad way returning it back. So you have to run around trough whole Runescape to even have a chance to get one. What happens if you never get something? How fair is that? Just bring them back by the Old events. If not there's no idea returning em back. Cmon Jagex, dont disspoint your players again.

Actually, there's a bit of ambiguity in how that will work, and I think it needs addressing.

The actual wording from the opening post by Mod Mat K:

hey why not let each items stay in one area for 2-5 mins after the 2-5 mins is up there spawn somewhere else and you can pick 1 up then after u pick 1 up u are unable to pick up another until you bank the 1 in your inventory.(if you were to drop it and pick up another and try to pick up the old 1 you would be unable to because u already 1 have 1 in your inventory.)(and if you try to trade your rare with some 1 else and they already have one you then they will be unable to take the rare.)(the only problem with this idea is if we have those imps that bank items in the game......then again if you made it so that the imps are unable to bank any type of rare i would think everything should be fine.)(but im thinking if you had the time to find the rare then had the time to bank it and come back then sure you deserve a duplicate rare.)

Wasn't that one of the poll options? Being released as holiday events? I assume it was. If so, it didn't hit 75% so they can't be released by that method of course.

They say holiday period, not event - I would assume they mean that during christmas period for example, this same method of random spawns in the worlds will happen.

As long as whoever is doing this event clearly states:
- How long each rare will be spawned (one day out of the week, or the entire week). -If it's going to be spawned every day for the week, how many will be spawned (or spawned in one day, if it is only one day)?
- A limit as to how many rares a player can pick up.
- How long an item will remain in one spot before it is spawned somewhere else, should no player find it.

If all these are addressed/answered, then great!
