Idea for a new unique abyssal bludgeon special attack.

Name: berserker rage
Special energy usage: 70%
Effect: once activated the bludgeon will increase in attack speed to match that of throwing darts on rapid mode for the next 5 hits. To keep this from being over powered those 5 hits will have a 15% reduction in damage and accuracy.

What's with all the whiners? Have you no regard for game balance?

Good job. Don't release broken weapons. Right now they are fine as they are, and the idea of more damage with missing prayer points is brilliant because it increases the skill factor.

Don't listen to 2012 Scapers who just want a best-in-slot for everything. We will never see a game with people walking around with diverse weaponry if we go down the same path as Pre-EoC did.

They're level 70 weapons, and of the type "Abyssal." Based on that, no, they should not be better nor worse, just different but with a similar power level.

So if I have 90 missing prayer, it increases my damage by the 90's 0.3% which is 0.27 dmg? Wut?


0.3% FOR EVERY PRAYER POINT that you are missing.

I'm pretty sure that 90*0.3% does not equal 0.27 dmg.

Abyssal Bludgeon too, but I'd rather let those who feel strongly about it offer the fix. I care about PvP and hybridding. The Dagger is my forte not the Bludgeon.


The changes that you've suggested for the dagger would leave it able to hit far more accurately than the AGS with a max hit of around 96 attacking at scimitar speed. This is not something we are willing to put into Old School. It would be completely overpowered.

The current version of the dagger trades off a bit of damage from the DDS but offers a better chance at a big hit (as both hits only rely on a single roll to determine if damage is dealt). Will it hit as hard as the DDS can? No, but it will hit hard more often.

do you have any plans to upgrade the saradomin sword. it is one of the coolest weapons in the game we even get a gold saradomin sword now! yet it is week and mostly useed for str training and the spec eats up 100% energy and misses most of the time. and the new weapons look like there going to kill it. a player told me the dragon dagger hits 40 40 and uses 25%spec energy and the ss uses 100%spec .please let the saradomin sword meen something more in this game .
