As for boss takes I have yet again hit a wall with you guys. I like the idea of assigning a certain monster so certain things can't be camped (Sara GWD solos with slay helm comes to mind) but then again... What if I finally get my boss task (assuming they are rare) but this one and the last 3 others have all been wildly bosses? Well yay now I get to either skip a much wanted boss task or be forced to trek out into the wilderness to potentially waste my time, lose my loots, and possibly even get skulled to lose my items?? This is where the ability to do any boss was nice. Also to boss you need decent gear/supplies appropriate to that boss. So if said player doesn't have the gear for that boss he will be forced to skip the task and miss out on that nice rare boss task he has been waiting for.
The proposed idea on the original devblog (after tweaks) was a nice one. You got to choose which boss you wanted to kill (that's fine as long as the slayer helm only applies to SLAYER monsters, such as: K'ril, Kree'ara, KQ, KBD, DKs, Kraken, Thermy, Cerberus, and Abyssal Sire NOT bosses such as Zilyana, Graardor, Zulrah, Corp, Mole, so on and so on.
Getting slayer exp for killing these bosses for their HP value is already enough extra cherry on top to make boss slayer worthwhile. Throw in a little bonus exp at the end as you already plan to do and we are golden!! Make corp/zulrah/bandos/mole/chaos ele easier by 15% then you have my absolute NO vote.
Also; how can I vote yes or no on this bludgeon without stats? If it whipes out whips for beat overall damage no thanks. If it completely makes AGS special attack seem weakly then NO. We just want a good crush stats weapon not a game ruiner
