Dear Community,

We all heard about the DDoS attacks, for the ones who don't know where I am talking about -> a group of people are attacking the servers wich leads to disconnections of the servers.

I was killing skeletal wyverns with a full void setup, Armadyl CB, Archers Ring, Fury, 10k Broads, 1.5m worth of wyvern loots & an insured kbd pet. Suddenly a DDoS attack came in and I got disconnected. As soon as i tried to return the second DDoS attack came in and i wasn't able to return for half a hour. When i returned I logged in and I found myself in Lumbridge. A +/- 8m GP loss worth of goods and 3 void pieces (helm, gloves, bottom) were gone. This will take me a huge amount of time to return. As im moving out may 31th I think I will not be able to finish my goal of 99 range before then (96/99).

What are your thoughts on this? As a paying member I think Jagex need to help people like me out.

By DDOSING you mean someone has a botnet and attacking the 2007 servers right? Or do people login and riot to crash the server? Those are two differnet things for one you can limit chat flow and then put the servers on cloudflare so that DDOS attacks fail miserably. Which would make the game go down, but really cloudflare is needed to protect the game since SO many people play now..

The thing about splashing is not really a big deal Magic is a very click extensive skill and to be honest it's all about money. the biggest problem in RS is the gold buying and selling no one gets banned. It's a joke to be honest that people don't get banned for it.

Hi jagex,

Although I believe you do everything and you are working hard against the Ddos.

Today i still lost my full Void, except the top, at the wyverns because of the first dc. I tried to reconnect for more then 30minutes, but when i finaly got back it wasnt there anymore. There is nothing I can do about this right?>

Sucks that you suffer from these attacks, i really like runescape :)

Just like to add my voice.

The "How are things in Oldschool" post by the mods pretty much covered what I have issues with.

Most importantly:
AFK training (NMZ and Splashing). I can't see any reason for AFK training to exist in game?

The mods should take it upon themselves to remove it, with or without a poll.

Please don't change the drop tables too much if you feel they do need nerfing.

As for NMZ, the only problem I have with it is Guthans 6h AFK but other than that I don't think anything needs to change except maybe having the ability to select our own bosses to fight during a hard rumble and saving them as a preset.

Splashing I'm rather split on as the XP gained is very minimal and only those players with a lot of patience will do it but I'm unsure why this was changed on regular worlds and still exists in FFA and PvP worlds.

Hello jagex.
I died and lost al my stuff.

20-5-2-15 at 20:20 dutch time world 373. the sever ddos and got offline.
i just started playing for 3days and now i lost everything I worked so hard for?
If I lose everything and don't get anything back i Quit this game.
Losed agillity legs and like 10k stuff only not to much.
