so i love the ideas ! But lets try and make the servers run smooth first it bad enough how many times i get dced from this ******* game and the **** i lose pvming its ******* sad. Honestly im scared how the new expansions are going to be if the servers cant even hold themselves now! I know im not the only one who thinks this.. i understand ddossing the servers ect **** happens but this has been going on since the start of the game like how can you not stop it? lets fix this problem so people can actually enjoy the game smoothly.

Great blog!!

I love the abbysal demon boss requiring 85 slayer, as do the normal ones. ( It makes sense, Krakens and Smoke Devils have bosses requiring the same level as the normal ones. )

Furthermore, Abby Dagger seems amazing idea! :P However it may lower the price of Hastas.

About the assignments... could there be a way to "highlight" some tasks that you would get more often? I would propose adding the ability to increase the chance of recieving a certain task with slayer points ( same way as extending the tasks ).

Also, for the future a Dark Beast boss could be a cool idea.

Abyssal dagger is a joke, u should add abyssal longsword, abyssal maul, abyssal warhammer..etc..that have more use to the game.
Adding new weapons that has lower stats than the primary ones is just useless, and it will be dead content either-ways, since hasta is 6-7m so dagger will be 5m tops(Even with spec)?

Getting a group will be impossible unless you have a task, and the helm will speed boss killing a lot. In my opinion it's very imbalanced.

The only bosses the slayer helm should work should be the bosses that have an equivalent slayer task, like Abbys boss, Hellhound boss, Smoke devil boss, etc.

Also I think we should have a separate slayer boss master. He would only be useable once a day, or once every three days.

Giving the buff to kill KQ, GWD, Corp and etc is simply IMBA !
You can already use slayer helm buff to kill a lot of bosses. Kalphite task for KQ, greater demon task for Zamorak GWD, aviansie task for Armadyl GWD, spider task for Venenatis, bear task for Callisto, skeleton task for Vet'ion, black dragon task for KBD, dagannoth task for DKS.

The only bosses which cannot be done with slayer helm buff as of now are: Saradomin GWD, Bandos GWD, Chaos Elemental, Giant Mole, Corporeal Beast and Zulrah.
In my opinion Zulrah and Corp are the only ones which could become too easy/overpowered with a slayer helm buff. This also depends on how common the boss task is, it should be a rare task for obvious reasons.

I'm afraid OSRS is making the same mistake as RS3 in regards to adding new items to the game.

Like RS3, OSRS is continually adding in weapons to the game without taking into consideration items already in the game. If you continue to cram weapons into the same level bracket, you'll devalue existing items and that has knock on effects. If you look at RS3, the whip costs around 200k. The knock on effect of that is little to no people kill Abby Demons now. And this applies to many other items.

There is currently room in levels 80-99 in most skills where you could add new weapons/resources, that won't devalue existing items. :)

Another problem is that OSRS players are no longer young/teenagers. Most people know what to kill to get good drops. For example, look at dragon boots. They cost around 220-250k. To maintain a healthy in game economy, you need to have progression and sensible items added to the game in level brackets that are empty, like 80-99. OSRS needs an item and gold sink and I feel you missed out on that opportunity because it could have been done on the new continent. (And this is an even bigger problem because you no longer lose your items when you die (you have 30 minutes to get your stuff)).

Although I have ideas on fixing the problems above, I don't think this is the right thread for it, but hopefully you get an idea of what I'm trying to say.

This looks awesome! cant wait to do some cerebrus! =P the only thing I would like to see is a Dagganoth task extension!

*EDIT* I Like everything except for the fact that the hellhound boss was changed without anyone knowing.... Really just a twitter post? Why is it that everything else is polled and this was just randomly slipped in under our noses, We should have a say in whether its 95 or not. Sure Some people wanted it, But give EVERYONE a chance to give their say, Not just a Select few. Seeing as how everything else was polled this should be to.
