Don't fix what isn't broken, much less things that fit cleanly with the oldschool style. What is it about this concept that makes not even losing the better part of their playerbase over their blatant ignorance of it not get through their seemingly impenetrable skulls?

Don't touch our glorious homepage, and send more RS3 work in the direction of Mods Biggs and Allstar as it's obvious they have far too much time on their hands. I do try to cut Jagex some slack where I can, but shoving every little pet project of their employees into the faces of the players got old many years ago.

If it wasn't for OSR's polling system, I'm sure the design would've been implemented before anyone had a say. Just like, you know, when Jagex nuked the old forums without a second thought and expected praise rather than the outcry they shrugged off as the "vocal minority". Instead of chipping away at the cyber-archaic novelty of the site, how about booting up separate forums for us in the oldschool style to enhance that aspect?

I like a little change, and I'm going to assume that this was a quick little picture that you put together, and would not be the final webpage.

I would like to see even more players playing and if giving the website a new lick of paint will accomplish this then go for it.

I like the idea of a better website, but the picture that you posted needs some more work.

Keep trying though!

Ps. How about we re-name OldSchool into something else so the players who are so anti-change can no longer use "OldSchool" as a weapon/crutch to keep this game stuck permanently in 2007.

You're entitled to your opinion. I personally really like the current OSRS Website because of it's 2007 feel as well. But, we need to look at this as Business, as Jagex is a Company. I did say that Jagex can make a toggle for the Website so I really do not see a problem. You seem pretty angry though, so go meditate for a few hours and them come back.

Goodbye.

You see "lol"s as anger? you're insane rofl.

Idgaf about the business pov. if the majority of the players don't like something, that shows that jagex is making a mistake. they'll just be shooting themselves in the foot as they've done from pre-eoc to rs3 when they lost so many veteran players because they refused to listen to them... and now you're talking about business? hahaha. wow. bro, it's just gonna be the same thing over again. If the players don't want it, it's end of discussion... and most of us don't want it. there's a reason why it's called "oldschool" and not "oldschool slowly turning into rs3". this'll probably be polled. watch it fail.

I like nothing about that new web page design, it looks just like the RS3 page. Leave the crisp neat graphics to RS3 and keep oldschool OLDSCHOOL. The fact you would even create something like this for oldschool scares the heck out of me.

You could just have the option to switch between this new sleek mode, and the current awesome looking mode.

Have the automatic setting be for the new design so when someone new stumbles upon this they aren't scared away, and veteran players wanting their nostalgia can just toggle it to old-school version.
