Why does Jagex need to run a 'poll' asking how much xp per hour each of these gives? Can they not figure it out for themselves? Other than that some of the numbers they give are well fudged. Bursting Monkeys is not 150k/hr... In fact its probably closer to 300k.

I'd love to know how an average of 160k in nmz magic is possible at the keyboard let alone afk, am I missing something?!

Also how the melee xp is so high as an average.

All seems fishy to me


Very easy. 160k isn't even the maximum. Three people, all using smoke barrage, they take turns every 20 minutes luring the monsters into one square.


You have no idea. I'm 96 mage, been at nmz since 71. I know how to do it and over 160k p/h is near on impossible unless you are 98/99 magic. Not once have I averaged more than 155k and of all my 10 mates, that also use nmz for magic, I know of none that have hit anything more than 155k on a regular basis.

All you forum bums need to get your facts right before talking about it like you know it inside out.

I also know the xp rates for "afk" mage ,which is blood bursting.

Solo is 35k approx at 96 mage and in a 3 mane team is max of 65k p/h. 160k is an absolute joke.

I can't say for afk mage with p pots but 155k/* for free still sounds ridicolous.
Solo afk with blood burst averages a bit over 50k/h (56k) for me i logged the xp over several days so i am pretty confident that it is nowhere near 35k
Then again it is completely free mage xp, in fact you even profit with points so the rates are way too high i don't even know if half xp gained would even do anything.
Xp Should be removed alltogether in rumble in my opinion

Um, I've done it from 94-98 Magic. 300k from 99 so soon I'll be able to say I did it from 94-99. 160k is about average. I've done with it one of the top 5 magic users a bit, and he said he's hit close to 180k at times.

Avid rs3 PvMer here. The main reason I steered clear of oldschool was because of the hundreds of hours of active grind before getting to the content I used to enjoy such as Barrows, DKS, GWD.
There's no way I'm grinding 100m gp or selling my red phat on rs3 to burst my mage to a decent level or even sit here clicking a million or so alchs for a few hundred hours.

I caught wind of the effectiveness of this NMZ through here and decided I might give oldschool a shot if I can afk train with it not affecting me playing Rise of the Six or other pvm on rs3 while waiting for the account to be ready to "Actually play" (meaning pvp, gwd, etc). Though, if any of these pass besides the 6-hour fix, I don't think I'll be wasting another bond on my oldschool account.

lol. I actually average 170k xp/h at 80 magic. Don't know what you guys are doing wrong...

Question: Should we introduce an activity timer which will log you out of the game whether or not you are in combat if you have not interacted with the client for 5 minutes?


My quote oft he mod mat's question, to be honest i am against it, because if people are automatically logged out, it might save them from dieing to a random, there should be arisk of dies for afking. I vote no that.
