The difference is not everyone will buy from those sellers. But when Jagex go in and add a "legal" way to purchase gp, it automatically devalues every item in the game. We will see giant crashes on expensive items and people quitting RS becuase it becomes too easy. Thats exactly what happened in Rs3. Jagex knows and they still milk it.
Thank you Mod Ronan for the patch/notes, on the topic of Bonds, How will Ironmen be able to give/receive them from other players? Will we be getting access to the trade screen (ONLY) for bonds? Or will it work like questing where you can use it on another Player, but a confirmation box will appear?

and why are people complaining about bonds? you realize people rwt anyways? wouldnt you rather donate to jagex to keep the game running?
But now everyone with rich mums and dads will have an extreme advantage on other players. I am fully against bonds.
You should never be able to purchase in-game currency legitimately. Yes people RWT but you get punished for it...
Looks like they're getting needy of money to keep the game running but personally i think the game won't last long if people can pay there way into things with real life wealth.
You understand that regardless of what you said Jagex has already given us the graph of a 5 year span of what and how oldschool runescape will be like in the future. Bonds are mainly to keep players playing runescape so that they don't leave and quit the game. It gives them a chance to get membership access to all of runescapes features with just paying ingame gold for a 14 day membership. I'd honestly rather have it that way then to have people leave this precious game most of us grew up on.

This is a joke, you guys are so slow with everything! Promise everything get nothing done.
Looking at the list of updates from the last 2 years, I think your claim that we get nothing done is incorrect. But I'm sorry if we're unable to deliver everything as fast as you want.
Would you care to explain how it's going to de-value the worth of items and gold ingame? Bonds don't bring into circulation ANY gold, all it does it create an item that's either redeemable for membership days or is tradable. When you trade it for gold you're receiving gold from another player, not JaGeX. This only helps keep GP flowing through multiple hands rather than stagnate, in turn creating more trades in general.
I don't see what the problem is.
Anyways, thanks for the update JMods! My only gripe is that I have to wait for OSBuddy to update!
Thanks for taking the time to figure everything out. In my opinion OSRS should take a slower pace than RS3 considering updates; no significant updates every week. Until now my compliments in balancing this out pretty well during the existence of OSRS.
