I like the one idea about player owned shops. You could make it like in fly for fun(another game) where people would make a speech bubble saying what there selling and other players were able to investigate there sales and purchase items that people put up for a set price.

If that idea doesn't really suit you to stop the spamming you could just make some kind of speech bubble that permanantly stays above your head advertsing what your selling so that all the spam from auto typers no longer floods the chat.

Is the 5 minute timer making you auto log off not beign polled any more then?

& the pid problem is that your pid changes mid fight and it can delay your next attack if you temporarily go out of combat(by eating, weapon switching, etc) and click him again I believe. It needs to be changed so that your pid doesn't change while in combat

Then the other player would have an advantage for the whole fight, that wouldn't be good either. Not necessarily, it would be the same as the pre-pid fix and the advantage would always be swapped depending on who the RNG prefers at the time as whenever you eat 2 food in a row or something the other person would then get the "advantage"

I really don't see any way to fix it without making it so that your pid doesn't change while in combat, it's pid in general that's messing it up, and there will always be pid. It's either the way it currently is or the old style lol

In PvP situations pid should work like it did in pre-eoc, your pid didn't affect pking at all, both players could die at the same time, hitsplats appeared at the same time etc.

Otherwise they wouldn't of had to change pid to begin with, they could have just used the wilderness system for duel arena

You are right about both players dying at the same time though, so idk. If it is possible to remove pid from PVP then I agree that would be a better option but it seems unlikely.

Hey Mod Ash,

Would it be hard to put in an old slayer reward, runes for 250 casts of Slayer Dart, back in the game? I think it would help reinforce using magic for slayer tasks for those with slayer points to burn, though I can't remember how many points that reward was worth back then.

I'd have liked to see an increase in the alchemy value of Pharaoh Sceptres, and better way of selling Pyramid Plunder artefacts make it into the dev blog alongside the couple of other PP proposals, but I'm happy to see a lot of the suggestions that will make it into the next poll.

A simple right click on the game chat tab and it should allow you to add filter words. Then only text that appears with those words in it shows up. Would be completely client side the same way they do hide, friends only, etc.. Then we could simple add filters like "shark", "shrks", "buy", "[b]". And only those who are buying sharks will appear in our chat. Great way to stay away from the Grand Exchange, but allowing an easier way to find those you would like to trade with.
