@Mod Ash, it was already hard enough to kill for people without 99 Ranged. I can see making Mage more viable, but by making the boss force you to use mage, the idea of saving bolts there now is pointless. And now on top of that, you need to take a mage switch to kill it? That's precious inventory spaces needed for food.
The randomization is making kills harder so people are using more food and failing significantly more. Kills are also slower. I really think spawns need to be made longer since its harder to know where it'll be spawn thus hard to take advantage of a combat style.
I've just done a kill of the new Zulrah, for me the first 75% of the kill followed the same pattern until the last 25% then it switch to a more random spawn. Magic seems to hit decentish on the Range form... but only time will tell
Managed to kill the "new" zulrah on a zerker pure in 2:50 first try, barely used any food, im not quite sure what people are doing wrong here but zulrah has become EASIER with this update.

Except for the people who pointed out that we'd offered a boss where you had to use multiple forms of combat to fight it effectively, and the people who pointed out that they could kill it faster than we'd expected so its drops were now incredibly generous, etc.
You had to bring a mage switch before the change for the melee stage to get the fastest times. It just doesnt seem right having the range form weak to mage when thats now how the combat triangle works. And now people will be just purely maging instead of purely ranging, once again it seems this hasnt been thought through..
