At the very least, I don't think the torstol rates should have been changed :s
Still incentive to grow them even if they are cheap, they are really good farm exp, and low costs makes high herblore actually worth getting to make potions.
Kudos for making mage viable at the Snake boss as well, but I don't think it should have had new mechanics added.

The torstol and coconut drops were feeding the antidote++ (ie. venoms+) that the bossers were using anyway. I actually thought it was balanced. Why should high-level farmers make so much on torstols/day for 5 minutes of work?
And it was nice seeing people willing to tan the black *hide actually making money with crafting.
I thought it was a win-win for skillers and bossers alike. Well except farmers...but torstol is great XP, so I dont get it.

Why did you change the mechanics when no one was complaining about them?? It makes no sense "people think drops are too good lets change them and why not the boss too". I thought OSRS was about listening to players?

Except for the people who pointed out that we'd offered a boss where you had to use multiple forms of combat to fight it effectively, and the people who pointed out that they could kill it faster than we'd expected so its drops were now incredibly generous, etc.
