Is the melee form supposed to be so resistant to everything? Even when in near max mage bonus magic splashes a fair bit. I know its still faster to mage it but making the difference bigger would be nice, especially since kills are probably going to be slower with the new rotations.

We could make the difference bigger, though the melee form is not on screen very often due to its attack being quite limited.

having to mage switch is stupid, its already next to impossible to hit on the damn thing with magic. shoulda made the green form weak to melee or something. make red weak to magic and the blue form weak to range bring a triple switch and follow the triangle weaknesses, i think its silly you cant melee the boss at all....... it wouldnt been hard to make the boss spawn near the edge so you can hit it with melee.

i killed it 500 times and knew how to do the fight perfectly for every phase, now you change everything up and im have to relearn everything it does before i can get back to my 2 min kill times.

Also remove jar of swap, jar of dirt, jar of sand from the game or find uses for them. its kinda silly a 1/3k drop has no use other than haha you got a rare drop that we jagex created to troll you.
i know a guy with 1070 zulrah kills who went 723 kills dry an then got a jar of swap an he quit the boss all togeather.

The melee form already has reduced magic defence. However it doesn't appear very often because its attack is so limited, so overall you'd just stick to ranging Zulrah anyway. The green form is on screen a lot more, so its magic vulnerability will - hopefully - make it more worth your while bringing magic attacks.

What we polled was a boss that should be fought with more than one combat style. It became apparent that this is not what Zulrah was.

Zulrah was meant to be a range/mage boss. After doing over 300 kills, I can confirm that it was mostly a range boss, and this update suits what we voted for to begin with, which is a boss that needs two forms of combat. As for the loot update, Jagex can only run so many tests, and they wanted the boss to equate to 1.8m an hour, which after looking over their data, I'm sure it was a bit more than that. You have to realize that certain items crashed very hard due to Zulrah, and that was also never intended, so to make up for that, the drop table was nerfed a bit. Overall, I'm not upset about this, and excited to get right back into it.
