4. If players need to price an item, it should be done in the same manner as the GE. It should only include a price range (the minimum and maximum price) without giving an absolute value in a similar fashion as OS Buddy's price checker.

5. The only time the mean price, absolute value, or GE value of an item should be implemented is with Coin Share and Loot Share. Otherwise, buying and selling items should be based on a price range and players' willingness.

6. In the event of a newly-released item, again, no GE-suggested price or market value should be given. It should be entirely up to the players to determine the price range as will all items.

THIS except for #7. The main reason I voted no was the price checker. Adding a price checker with an absolute value is going to cause a very noticeable shift in the pirce of many items

I hope for the best. Whatever is done will be done, Please hold off on so many updates is my main request. This game is starting to look like the American OWNED (POOOOOOOOOP) game EOC and RS3. Theres a all 3 of those are not good.

Having a set market price for items is also what ultimately allows merc* clans to manipulate certain items. I highly suggest reconsidering a price checker with an absolute value and implementing one with a price range instead. The coinshare value would then just have to be the median of the price range.

Just like other people have already noted, I find it ironic how people want this game to be easier by demanding GE and when the option of having it in every bank comes up they think it makes it too easy?!

I guess having principles isn’t easy these days for the voting cattle. I suppose it has always been more comfortable keeping the double standards than to actually do some thinking.

I also don’t buy the interact argument, as someone else said if they wanted to interact with other people they wouldn’t have voted for GE in first place (they would have voted old school if they Actually were For interaction). They voted GE because they wanted trading to be easy, plain and simple.

(for the record I don't want GE, let alone in every bank but I'm pointing out the obvious double standards) -

Don't make GE accessible from every bank! This is going to make it more overpowered than the one in RS3 (a game that has lots of OP stuff). RS3 only has two GEs. ~Petros, the Doctor

Please for the love of god, add a warning when you accidentally click " I don't want a pin ". Iv'e been accidentally reseting my pin for about a month now. All I want is to protect my bank, is that really so much to ask? 7 days is a long time to not accidentally click the wrong option.

If the grand exchange is going to be accessible from every bank don't even waste your time making the building in varrok or falador wherever it ends up.

The main building will be complete dead content... who in the right mind would waste their time using a teleport or running a far distance to get to a building that does the same thing as all the banks in the entire game?

Please if you are making it able to be used from every bank don't bother even making the main building and just make it able to be used from all banks, would save a bunch of time and would get it into the game a lot faster i would assume.


In my opinion just make the main building wherever the community wants it to be and forget about adding it to all the banks across the game.


I also suggest taking the 2 winning suggestions from this poll and repolling the 2 to give a better understanding of what the community really wants.

Honestly if you are going to have ge in every bank AND create the main building please just add the person to decant potions without even polling it. It would at least give me 1 reason to visit the main ge building.

The funny thing is if i want to get the the ge im gonna have to grab a teleport, and guess what is at the bank where im getting the teleport... A GE!!!! please, dont make it accessible from every bank.

Pretty funny how you'll have to basically go to a ge to get a teleport to get to a ge. Why would you go to one ge just to get to another one that does the exact same thing?

From experience in playing rs3 on almost a daily basis, i could tell you there is barely anyone in the original GE with their being 2 GEs on the game, Imagine how many people will be in the regular GE on oldschool with their being over 20 GEs in the game!!!

Seriously the GE main building will be complete dead content if you really think about it.


THE SOLUTION!!


I have read through this thread and thought about each persons post. Bringing it all together i have come up with a good idea...

Add a convenience tax to all of the GEs that are located in banks and have the main building GE tax free. This would help the GE main building not to become dead content, giving people an actual reason to visit it. This would also help the economy considering there would be a large sum of people who are in a hurry to buy things causing a money sink Scecter ~ The Unluckiest PvMer Alive

What a joke... you expect any of the options in this poll to get near 75% when you have 5 different option? Each option should have been its own question with 'yes' or 'no'.
