The updates that make the minigames useful are good, but what about those fighter legs? How many str bonus will they give, because they shouldnt be better than a bandos tassy in my opinion.

Also we should focus less cosmetics, because if we get a recolored whip, we will get recolorable d bows, staffs and armours. The items lose their originality with this

As an old castlewarer I agree with previous posters. As for castlewars and also Barbarian assault, please be really careful with new updates. These are the 2 minigames in oldschool which have large community around them. Careless updates may kill the community and leave the whole minigame empty inside with all old 'pros' leaving the minigame. The veteran players are the ones who make the community and are the ones regularly or even daily playing them...Players built the communities so please don't throw away everything instead listen to them closely. The old veterans know tve minigames best.

I don't really see any community at Barb Assault, and I don't really do Castle wars currently - Too busy going for goals.

There are positive updates, what you might see as 'bad' might really not be, but rather bring more traffic/more community for any mini-game.

I can't say much about castle wars as I don't play it at the moment, like I said above, but I will eventually :P everything takes time ^.^

so you go on to say that you dont play castle wars but in your expert opinion these are positive updates? this is a problem, people who dont play the minigame voting for its changes. there should be a special requirement for people to vote on these. you dont want to chase away the players that are the only reason these games are alive, just because joe shmo who plays castlewars once a year is too cheap to buy runes and just wants easy tickets. if it would be possible i would suggest doing a 30ticket/2 level5 roles as a requirement for cw and ba respectively. low enough for a good amount of players to vote, but high enough so players who never played or have only been there once or twice cannot.

Should have a multiple choice answear for implementing the bonecrusher:
1. Yes
2. No
3. Yes, with 52 or 70+ prayer lvl requirement to use.

Otherwise, it will just be another update to make things easier, which you got RS3 for.

Yea, I actually think the bonecrusher would be OK at 70+ prayer. At that point, the experience gain would be far less significant. A 52 prayer requirement is too low though, in my opinion.

Nice idea for voting and so true what you said :]

That is the one problem in updating minigames - there are 2 different opinions, 2 different point of views - veteran who plays minigame for the fun of it & someone shortly/once a year visiting the minigame. If you poll these updates it might turn out that the players who shortly visit there win the vote and as a result veterans lose intrest to play these minigames or new updates make playing the game almost impossible for the veterans.

Might want to think about which of these two point of views you choose when thinking the updates :] In the long run most of visitors will not still stay at minigame when they have once again reached their goals :]

Should the game applet show your current health, prayer points and run energy on icons near the minimap? A toggle option would allow players to hide these icons if they did not wish to see them.
Answer- I would love to see this brought back into the game.

Another thing not mentioned in this dev blog that I would like to see brought back would be clan wars.

- Yeh Rune Spawns in Cmb related minigames would be a great start :)
- How about also the ability to buy Overloads in other cmb minigames.
- Make minigames more rewarding, for example CastleWars
* Improve the stats of the armours (and give them % Bonus inside the arena)
- Make it more rewarding so people can actually make some money of it (the ability to spend their tickets for random items or XP (like SoulWars)

I've seen countless claims for a community surrounding Barb Assault but I don't really see one, ONLY when something is updated these "communities" come out.
Not saying there is one, but it must not be very big, I'm usually up at very random/unusual hours and I've done my fair share of Barb Assault.

I agree. I've seen few regulars at CW and BA but only a few.

I have struggled to find people for some CW games. While I had to wait in BA there are always people there thanks to PKers.
