Don't see a need for recoloured items personally, doesn't feel oldschool. However in the instance of Q8 I think it would be a cool idea to create an item sink and allow people to attain recoloured items. Not a fan of dung rewards being implemented at all for many reasons.

Most the no's were due to me feeling like they were either a) Not in the old school feel, b) Would make the game unneededly easier, c) Aren't needed or d) I just don't like them :L

We need dark mage NPC contact and I think the new slayer master should be added too for consistancy. Definately think the minigames need updating so more people play them, possibly by adding incentives but as I said they shouldn't be overpowered. If dung rewards were to be released then they shouldn't be obtainable in a day. The only dung reward I would be okay with seeing would be the gem bag so that gem mining wouldn't be dead content hopefully.

I think quite a few of the "not minigame" questions are things that are needed or would be nice to have without devauling the game bar a far (such as the globes on minimap).

-I like the idea of whip coloring being a thing again.
-I like the pot-luck rewards like augury/rigour/clues/bone crusher
-I'm not so sure of the PvP buffs due to abusing it with friends or something (fix, risk?).
-New castle wars rewards? YES. I've always wanted one of the flags outside the game.
-Please increase alch value of armadyl.
-Runner legs? Sure. Make them mid-tier between rune and bandos. I think it'd slightly devalue bandos if they were any better.
-One handed Z-spear? Might as well.
-Slayer fix with Nieve? Yes please.
-Spades at barrows? Nah. It's not enough trouble to go back to warrant a fix.

I will be offering my insight to each section of the Dev Blog


Matchmaking

Create friend chats that are named after the minigame. Either use the friend chat system or use a system similar to the ::toggleroof option where players can join a chat specifically for OSRS. ::join[minigame]

This chat should not be remembered upon log in. Perhaps ranks could be introduced to show the amount of completed games in the event.

Incentives

The shops should be specific to the minigame and should be located by the minigame. Do not require players to play multiple games.

Barbarian Assault :
Do not add Fighter Legs. Do not add re-color for whip. Add tiers for each armor that increases prayer restore. Tier 1: 3pts per min. (1275 pts, 40 def); Tier 2: 6Pts per min. (3825 pts, 60 def); Tier 3: 10pts per min. (12750 pts maxed in each role and 100 queen kills, 80 def, prot from psn). Each tier should slightly increase defense/offensive bonuses by 10% of the tier prior.

Blast Furnace :
Turn in crafted items for pts. An Ore/Gem Bag should be introduced that has different tiers. Tier 1: 15 Ores/Gems (1000 pts); Tier 2: 30 Ores/Gems (3000 pts); Tier 3: 45 Ores/Gems (8000 pts). 1.5x exp rate for smithing bars inside the blast furnace, add anvil inside the blast furnace that gives 1.15x exp. Is it possible to add a mine inside the mingame area so players can mine/smith in one location--no bank? This will create an item sink for unused smithed items and reduce the amount of GP in the game. Add deposit box. 1 Pt = 10 smithing exp

Castle Wars
No extra tickets whatsoever; too easily abused. Add Guthix, Saradomin, and Zamorak Flags. No new armor sets. No bandages. Add seige weapons. Upon entering a game, players are switched to normal mage book if on ancients. Lunars allowed. Allow all free runes, no mage exp penalty, no high alch, low alch, or superheat. Imbued ring

Fishing Trawler :
Free required items on boat. Add superior fishing tool that can catch all fish and is weldable (perhaps the fishing pole, colored gold, many npc's have equipped) as a reward for returning high level fish to Murphy (70 fishing required). Each game offer 25 minutes of 2x yield for all fish.

Burthorpe Games Room :
3 Pts. obtained for won games, 1 Pt for lost games. Heraldic Armor sets can be learned here (construction Heraldic items). This would allow players to complete some of the missing items in the heraldic sets such as the plate body, plate legs, and boots. Perhaps allow players to buy other missing cosmetic items such as missing robe hoods/boots/gloves. Perhaps allow construction unlocks to be bought here such as better-than gilded altars, colored flames in fireplace, a permanent teleport to home option, god oriented themes/trees/etc. Burthorpes Games Room should be the ultimate home decor/cosmetic shop. Do not flood the game with useless cosmetics that are tradeable. Every cosmetic item is untradeable.

Nightmare Zone
Remove imbued rings, "Full" slayer helm and imbued crystal items should be only reward, no imbued Black Mask. Quest points determines multiplier of points. Games are determined by player in lobby with highest quest points, not vise-versa like it is now. Give players all free runes, not just up to death (no high alch, low alch, superheat in game). Cost per unit in shop is determined by quest points.

Pest Control :
Add progressively more capable armors--Normal (1100 total), Elite (2200 total w/ normal pieces in inventory), Master (3300 total w/ elite pieces in inventory). Each tier requires previous armor piece. Void Mace Elite allows casting of all god spells as long as the cape is wielded. Master Void Mace gives free blood runes. All Elite offers +1 prayer on each item w/ no added defense bonuses, 15% damage for range/melee-no other reqs; All Master offers +2 prayer on each item w/ +120 defence across the board, 20% damage bonus, requires all three elite helmets to make master Void
Helm-60 prayer, 65 defense, 80 Attack/Range/Magic/HP.

Rat Pits :
Bets should not be placed between two players. Instead, players work together to kill rats in an arena. Once the cat runs out of HP, game ends. Players take control of the cat. Different rat difficulties and specialties. Certain rat kills unlock transformations like size, color, theme, abilities. Perhaps unique pets can be unlocked, uses for god eggs,ability to tame hunter npc's, etc. Certain cats/pets should offer bonuses to skills like other summoning monsters (finding items, restoring energy, etc). Very controversial topic, just offering suggestions.

Shades of Mort'ton
Bone crusher and Poison Tomb (recolored mage book offering no defense bonus) can be obtained via opening a chest requiring a set amount of shade keys. Buff prayer EXP, Buff firemaking EXP, allow logs to be cut directly in-game. Overall, just make the game easier to play.

Trouble Brewing :
Herbicide (40 herblore required; turns herbs into exp based on the EXP received for making a potion w/ the herb) can be exchanged for a set amount of pieces of eight-only works on herbs dropped from NPC's. Allow access to Mos Le'Harmless but make it impossible to explore the rest of the island until cabin fever is completed. Charter ships may sail to a dock close to the minigame.

Tzhaar Fight Pit :
Make this CLAN WARS. There are four types of games, safe (teams or FFA) and risky (teams or FFA). Increase the size of the arena, spawn monsters in much smaller numbers continuously, remove damage at the end of the battle, add consol in game that shows where players are. No reward for winning, everyone recieves 2k tukkul at end of game.

All other updates should be implemented except spade at barrows. A spade should spawn in the decomposing ghost town next to barrows*


Coin-Swapping should be banned.

Please yes omg bank in the blast furnace. I use the blast furnace all the time and it would be so much more efficient to have a bank there so you dont have to run all of your bars to the keldagrim bank. That way you can use your own ore without having to spend money.
