I feel that those who are preaching no in this thread have no idea how the Grand Exchange actually affected the game when it was released.
- The current system for trading is spamming w301 or using the zyb price checker. The G.E basically combines these into one - a centralised location for people to trade player-to-player whilst having an in-game version of the website price checker within an environment which allows for greater control of price fluctuations which in turn would result in an economy with greater stability.
- The Grand Exchange did not and will not in any way impose any form of trade restriction. Players will still set the market price.
Ultimately you should vote the way you personally feel after giving it thought and making sure you understand the reasoning behind your choice and not letting anyone on these forums, in game or on social media sway your decision. I know some people are going to 'leave' if this update passes because they play for the 'nostalgia', but if it does go through, the game will at least gain a lot more attention from those who currently play RS3 coupled with those who no longer play OSRS because of the current lack of G.E.

For my thoughts on all this, I myself am voting yes. The Grand Exchange when it was released was one of the best updates to the quality of life of all players (in my opinion). It allowed players to actually play the game instead of standing in Falador for hours on end trying to sell all of the prayer pots they just made or the Torags Hammers they just got from Barrows. Simply putting a sell offer and going off to do anything the player wanted allowed for more people outside in the world because they actually had the time to do so and that for me; to be able to spend less time worrying about trading and more time playing the game is what brought me back to OSRS.
