There shouldn't even be polls anymore because ******* vote yes to everything, EVERYTHING. why the **** should people who have actually been playing this game since rs2 have to put up with the GE?

Everytime there is a suggestion It's just to make the game easier. It's turned from a version veteran players can relate to, To an absolute joke, Anyone with half a brain can see where this is headed.

Jagex is ******* me off with all the poll suggestions. they don't give a single **** about this version and just want to make it easier for the majority of 12 year old's who play so they can keep cashing in on membership each month. it is very very sad indeed.

congrats on making life easier for bots and the merchers too. *********.

When this passes OSRS will be dead to me. It's going the exact same way RS3 went and won't have any nostalgia because the gameplay will be fundamentally changed.

Polls really should have been set at 95% pass rate - 1 in 4 people not supporting an update is a very significant portion.

Should have only been 51%, majority vote should always win.

Should have been 80%, 75% is too low.

If it was 80% and we reached 80% you'd be saying it should have been 85%, you're all just salty. Most people want the GE, stop trying to make it sound like it wasn't fair for the minority.

No, because there's a fundamental difference here:

With the trading post, you look at the people's offers and select deals from them to buy, "Oh this guy has 25k nats for 250 ea, that sounds reasonable". You're buying directly from a player, but through an interface and everything is right there in front of you.

With the GE, you select the item you want, the price you want and insert money. Items come out. Who sold them to you? Nobody really knows - it's just a money to item converter. It also brings a "guide price" with it which will soon be everywhere in the game, dictating the prices people buy and sell items for. The 4 hourly updates of +- 5% are too slow and inaccurate to give a good idea of what the "real" price of the items are, but people will be trying to buy and sell for them anyway.

I see your point, and I get what you're saying about the price updates. It's just that scrolling through a list of offers and choosing the best one hardly seems like much more player interaction than an automated system that would do that same thing for you. The GE would pick the best offer for you automatically, and it's not like many people, if any, would pick anything BUT the best offer in the Trading Post.

The difference comes in the logistics. You might need 30k nats, but someone might be selling 8k for 200 and another person would be selling 23k for 250 or a third person would have 30k nats for 270. Do you buy a little bit extra for more savings per nat, or get exactly what you want for a higher unit price.

I'm sorry, but I fail to see your point. How does this not decrease player interaction? Again, I'm just trying to understand, no hostility intended.

No, you're really not. You're coming off as hopelessly patronising - i've explained as best as i can and you're still simply not willing to see it.

I'm out.

they say 25% as If it is so insignificant. 14,000 people saying no. Is just as big as 40,000 people saying yes. And like i said before To all the people who live watching other people stream ( i cant see for the life of me why they do ) they are convinced without actually having their own opinion i heard Sparc_mac Was telling everyone to vote yes so thats 5-10k people who have made the majority vote because of what 1 person says? why should the 14,000 people who vote no have to deal with that? it's pathetic in my opinion. and the fact that over 5k of the votes are new accounts. i bet if you made a rule as in you had to of played at least 3 months before voting it would be 50/50 % its an outrage to the people who wanted the game to be 317 2007 for ever. not Rs3-317 lets be real The Grand exchange will pass and Alot of people will quit and i hope you all loose your Wealth's because i know I'm going to start playing something which takes both sides into account not just the majoriy vote. oh wait there i's** such a game. So we might as well fall in line right? no I'd rather quit than play a game which i resent. Grand exchange Worst idea ever.

Gf 07. :'( it was fun while it lasted
