Yes there are more people voting for GE the reason being that trading affects everyone. Now some people or most should i say are looking at the poll and are trying to attempt to get a "convenient" trading system.
Now the problem of "Convenience" is that it is detrimental to the game, RS3 updates being a good example of that and how at first people liked it but then now the game is too easy. It just not what osrs is about, its not the spirit of the game.
Now you average player isnt going to always be trading , where as traders are going to be always advertising selling buying, so this poll imho is aimed at the wrong audience. With GE there is no more talking, negotiationg, hagling; all online confidence of item price is determined by the game engine and graphs not by any active selling, this will mean opportunist will get their way of misusing GE to manipulate prices =[

As if there aren't already merchant bots and fake offers on the current trading post. The G.E.'s convenience allows you to actually play the game more rather than spending hours trying to sell off your loot tab. As far as talking and negotiating on prices... a majority of players look up an item, pm the person they're going to buy from, and say ty and go on with their day. Interaction through trading is already low, and the G.E. could potentially increase interaction between players as it was always a huge hub where people would just hang out. I only have time to play a few hours a week and don't see why we need a GE. To me it's just another step towards unprofitable skilling and making it easier for more people to get sucked into the fast xp and being able to buy quest items instead of exploring the game and sourcing their own items

Yes adding G.E will definitely stop bots dumping their stock and merc* clans wont manip items.. people.


You think mod wreath is able to handle bots dumping items in ge? HAAA, he isn't even able to ban all the bots at this current state of the game

Why do we need a GE? We play RS07 for a reason! This completely defeats the object of moving away from the new Runescape, as the game becomes easier and more predictable. Not to mention it will completely abolish trading in the game and become a completely unsociable mass of people stood staring at the 'GE'.

GE- NO SUPPORT. LETS THINK ABOUT AN AUCTION HOUSE INSTEAD WHERE PLAYERS CAN BID ON ITEMS. THAT WAY THE MERCHING WILL BE CRUSHED AND THE HARDEST WORKERS WILL WIN.

Question: Should we add a basement to the Warriors' guild containing a bigger cyclops that has a chance of dropping dragon defenders? To access the basement you would need to show Kamfreena a rune defender to get a key. You would still need to pay the same token fee as you pay to access the cyclops on the top floor.

YES. AND THE LEVEL SHOULD APPLY ALSO. FOR EXAMPLE IF 70 ATTK FOR BARROWS GLOVES. 40 FOR RUNE.**C

Question: Should we open the north side of Varrock west bank to provide access to the agility shortcut?

ALSO ON A SIDE NOTE. I HEAR RUMORS OF F2P OSRS POSSIBLY BECOMING FREE.
I SUPPORT THIS 100%. I FEEL THAT IT CAN HONESTLY HELP BOOST THE COMMUNITY AND ALSO MAY HELP MEMBERSHIP SALES IN THE LONG RUN. AT LEAST IF IT DOES NOT BECOME F2P, MAYBE MORE THAN A TWO WEEK TRIAL WOULD BE NICE FOR F2P. PEOPLE CAN GET HOOKED WITH MORE TIME SPENT IN THE GAME WHICH WILL LEAD TO A MEMBERSHIP PURCHASE.

You could also argue that playing an iron man account fulfills that purpose. Former RS3 Completionist, On the road to Max old school
