Without G.E the player still remains
If the G.E comes not most of the players, but assume at least 5 percent of the players will quit.
I think it would be wise to reconsider your decision for the grand exchange.
It will be a lose-lose situation unless you are promoting players to quit this game , or in other words to decrease your subscribtion.

I don't understand why anyone would want Grand Exchange after Trading Post was just introduced. If anything why not tweak the Trading Post a bit? I am fully opposed to Grand Exchange, so much that if they add it to oldschool I will almost definitely quit for good. Jagex slaughtered Rs2 the first time..when I heard about oldschool in 2013, I was ecstatic..runescape has been a game I have wanted to come back to for a long time. I love the fact that oldschool preserves..well, the oldschool version of the game. It's been nice having new additions and polling content but I can assure you adding GE is a mistake. I understand zybez and W1 is a joke, but even though Trading Post is similar to zybez, I personally enjoy meeting the player and trading. You can't trade with someone through GE and say "Oh by the way, do you have x by chance?" And if you think price is manipulated now just wait.

Mods, Jagex, for all that is holy, PLEASE don't add Grand Exchange to oldschool. I enjoy playing this version of the game and I'd hate to see it go to shame because of another repeated mistake.

Although I voted against the G.E., the G.E. would remove the need to trade directly with a player with having minimal game mechanisms to protect us from our own stupidity.

The suggested tweaks to the trading post would accomplish the same thing yet still require individual transactions, which would slow down the ability for a single player to amass an over-abundance of a particular item by buying from hundreds of players in a single transaction.

Either way, I must remind myself to only trade through the trading-post, to ensure my own stupidity and generally trusting nature, doesn't get the better of me. :-)

To give some encouragement to those worrying about GE not passing at 74% -- the polls round up to the nearest whole number.

This means if the votes end up at 74.5% it will round up to 75%. Also been keeping track of the % lately and it is going up at a slow but steady rate. It is safe to say in a week's worth of time it will definitely have gone up over that half of a %.

Hope this eases some people. :)

Can anyone confirm this??

Also, does anyone have any idea on how many accounts are able to vote/will bve going to vote. Or even just a guesstimation?

What is the purpose of making a separate version of the game .. if you are just gonna take the same route as you did in the live game?

Just because the GE will be added to the game doesn't mean suddenly EOC is going to come in over night. 5 years isn't going to go by just because the GE is put in. The GE is, to me, the best update is runescape history. The GE was released on November 26, 2007 which is still 07. Why it wasn't released when OS came out in the first place baffles me. But OS isn't going to take the same route as RS3 just because of the GE.

Also: how is Zulrah Old School? I don't remember seeing that in 2007. Or how about the golden scimitar, nightmare zone, and that new continent in development? I don't remember seeing those on November 25, 2007.
