People keep saying that they want OSR to stay old school. but what is a game without constant updates and new features? It'll just get boring and THAT'S when people will actually start quitting. For those saying that G.E isn't old school, it was infact released 26 november 2007. Which fits in the name 'runescape 2007' dont you think? People also are complaining that it will remove player interaction.. Go to world 301 and see all the player interactions happening in varrock west. You lag from the amount of spamming that is happening. The only player interaction you have is when the seller asks what item you want and you reply with the item + amount. For a poll as big as this to fail because of 1% (74%-26%) will be unfair for those who actually want the G.E.
Personally for me i think the grand exchange is the way to go.
and to confirm for those who don't know how to read, Jagex are NOT setting price limits etc. This poll has 33k votes and counting on the first day. You'd think that it's reasonable to introduce the g.e if we get 74% and not the passing rate of 75% compared to the past polls of 17k, 20k votes etc..
Guess my brain farted and lost track of the fact that monks are netted. Tho I have done some harpooning there when I needed a few quick points to get to a level.
Maybe, I'm not as recovered as I thought I was.
I got to admit not having the harpooning interfere with netting would be great. With my foggy thinking I was almost going to vote "No". Bad mistake if I had.
I think the grand exchange shouldn't be added but I also don't know all the mechanics to it.
I like the way that you introduced to buy a sellers items but sometimes there are not sellers for the item you want; and you have to sit around until someone posts an offer or you use zybez to put an offer to buy it.
You should be able to put an offer up for buying an item, that way someone who is selling an item has an alternative to posting an offer and can make the most profit also.
If that happened then there would be a way to average out prices on items and then coinshare could eventually be added because with the limit of players in oldschool there should be a way to balance items in the game to keep prices more steady
Just out of curiosity, will the votes be looked into, to see what type of accounts voted yes/no? To see how many newly made accounts (most likely made just to vote on/against poll), etc,etc...? Will there be any sort of filter, assuming that is possible?

@ Just kidding: I'm not sure if that's even possible, poll exit is probably just going to be final. If it is possible i would definatly second this question. That kind of information would definatly be nice to get insight in.
Scaping since 2002.

All I hear is "Yes Grand Exchange," "Yes Summoning," "Yes 3d Graphics," "Yes Dragon Claws!" and so many post '07 updates have already been added. Why did you even bring back "old school" runescape. What a joke, I guess jagex thought they could squeeze some more money out of a long retired player, and they were right. Way to make me feel like a fool.
